17 Foley, Rose, and Traynor paused and squatted on their haunches twenty metres from the edge of the clearing. In silence, they studied the safe-house. There was no movement. Finally, Sam spoke. “Looks quiet.” “They might be inside the house,” Foley offered. “We need to split up,” Traynor declared. “Split up?” Foley questioned. “Yeah. If they are in the house, we have a better chance if we approach from three different directions.” Foley looked at Sam. “What do you think?” “Jack’s right.
