After checking the email, I decided to go see Adien— he should be awake by now. When I got to the floor where his office was located, I met his P.A Mr Corner— his face was that of confusion till his eyes met mine— then he walked towards me with hurried steps.
“Miss Miles good thing I met you— Mr Reanon asked me to get you, and he seemed angry. Did you—”
I didn’t even wait for him to complete his sentence, before rushing into Adien’s office. ‘Looks like he was awake already’
I entered his office, but he wasn’t inside his office— so I went inside the room instead. He was sitting in the bed, with his back resting on the board of the bed, and he was looking gloomy. Immediately I entered, his eyes met mine.
“Where were you?”
“I’m sorry— I had to finish some assignments and hurried back”
