Astrid woke up alone, but she could sense Finnick was extremely upset. She flew out of bed, put on a robe and ran downstairs. She went straight to his office and opened the door without even knocking. Vera was standing inches away from Finnick. Her hand was on his chest. His hands were clenched at his sides. It was quite the scene to run in on. Vera turned and saw Astrid standing there, she smiled at her and walked out calmly. She turned and winked at Finnick.
“What in the world was that about?” Astrid asked.
“Shut the door,” he said angrily. The air almost crackled with energy.
She did as he asked and moved closer to him. “What's going on. You look like you're about to explode.”
“I just might be... She's going to fight for full custody of Rose. Unless I agree to be with her again.”
