She cursed that it was already close to night fall, but she was a wolf. She knew what she was doing. Her father had taught her how to survive. She found a stream and followed it for a couple of miles. She was going deeper into the forest, toward the mountains. Something about it felt right. She was glad she trusted her gut when she came across a cave with lush greenery partially covering the doorway. She went inside and put her bag down. She opened it to see what exactly her father had packed.
