Chris needs to tell Kate the name of the girl that he got pregnant, because then Kate will be able to assess the situation better. She will not judge; she has promised him that. She may try to convince the girl to have an abortion, the girl is still young, their high school friend, Kate reckons that the girl won’t want her future to be ruined by a baby herself.
