Kate opens the door for Lucas who ambushes her. She giggles and hops into his embrace. Lucas laughs, holding her tight, rushing inside her apartment, throwing his backpack to the floor, and concentrating solely on kissing her.
“Bed,” Kate says, while catching her breath.
“Nope,” Lucas says, pinning her to the door. “Too far, this will have to do for now. I’ve fuckin missed you so much, princess.”
Kate squeaks but obliges. She’s missed him too. She feels like she’s waited forever for him to arrive. After coming back to California, Kate texted Lucas, asking him to come and see her as soon as he can. Kate will not be able to visit the East Coast again soon, it will confuse some people. So Lucas will have to be the one who comes.
