“How’s Kate?” Bruce Jenkins asks, starting a conversation.
Lucas looks up. “Fine,” he answers.
“Great. When was the last time you talk to her?” Bruce Jenkins presses on, forcing the conversation.
“About an hour ago,” Lucas answers. “She said she was going out.”
“Ah, it seems like she’s having a good time. Where is she now? Still in New Zealand?” Bruce asks.
“No, they’re in Fiji now,” Lucas answers. “They arrived two days ago.”
