The death of Mr. Douglas Forrester has opened up a whole new thing for Chris, and as a result also for Kate. He’s forced to man up and leave San Francisco to move back to New York permanently. Chris needs to take the position of the leadership in his father’s large enterprise. His relationships with both Parker and Emma are somewhat restored, although perhaps not completely. But with Parker and Emma are somehow cool and welcoming, things are pretty promising.
Kate too, will eventually have to move to New York. Nothing keeps her in the West Coast any more except for work. Kate takes her time, though. She finds it strategical to do so. Kate told Chris and her family that her reason to not immediately leave Los Angeles is because she was swamped with work. It’s not a hundred percent true. Sh
