Chapter 5

350 Words
Blood runs thicker than water Sierra's POV Did I make the right choice? What if this kills her? I can't take being responsible for Kaseys death let alone her torture. "Well, this should be interesting. Kasey looks like you have to cut three limbs off. Your time starts now." I gave Kasey a pleading look hoping she would understand. Her face was a mixture of horror and anguish. I reached my hand up and intstructed her to cut off her finger. She had to cut off three different limbs. If she cut off one finger, one toe and a fingernail, she should be fine. It all depends on whether not she gets my message. Kasey slowly nods her head and grabs one of the tools. She had pliers. She understood. Her hands were shaking with anticipation. Only god knows what she was thinking, and I hoped this didn't mean our friendship was over. Kasey's POV Part of me felt angry that she chose the choice of me cutting off three limbs. Part of me was relieved. Sierra was smart, she knew 15 teeth would be too much but three small limbs were bearable. I couldn't stop shaking. I knew it would be easier if I steadied myself but every time I tried, new tremors were sent throughout my body. This is going to be hard. I choose my right ring finger, I lost feeling in that finger after breaking it so many times. If i remove the nail and the finger, that will be two. I took a deep breath, closed the pliers on my fingernail and pulled. At first it didn't come off and I was wrong, turns out I still have some feeling left. Tears started spewing out of my eyes uncontrollably. I looked up at Sierra, her face was full of regret. I had to do this. I yanked again and thankfully this time it came off. I felt screams fighting their way out of my throat but, nothing came out. 30 seconds were left, if I'm going to do this, I have to do it now.
