Chapter 1: "Profile"

 "You all were chosen as participants of "Hexus". This foundation is meant for you to heighten your five senses to become soldiers of the newest generation. This program aims to just solely draw out the most promising talent in you, and nothing more." 

     "Each participant is either given or implemented with different strengths, whether it may be superhuman abilities or normal heightened accuracy for some. However, this program is heavily funded by heavyweight corporations that desire for our species to prosper among the rest. We heavily depend on the cooperation and the consent of all participants; That we erase all your memories of your present life that you've ever known, and in return, you obtain power beyond your wildest dreams. Will you accept our proposition?"

    That was the message that I heard the day that my family was murdered. Nothing in my life made sense anymore. It came asking if I would participate in a program that could change my life "Hexus". Not knowing what the purpose was for the program I accepted the offer.

     I took the opportunity of hoping my life would change; that somehow my life could be better and that I could forget what happened that day. Then only to my realization that it was a dreadful mistake that I had made back then. To this day I wish I never accepted. This was only the beginning, and little did I know that I was on a ride for my life.

                                                                  ---PRESENT DAY - YEAR 3049---

                                                                                 ---2:49 a.m---

 " It's almost time for their trial test to begin. Op 2 may we get stats on the subjects?" " Op 2 in and clear, the stats for subjects 001-005 are in motion doctor. Subjects 006-009 lie in wait in isolation rooms." " Thank you Op 2. Henry pull up the feed. I want to know what type of patients we're dealing with here." " Yes, doctor." 

     I hear voices around me. I can feel unbearable pain throbbing in my head, causing me to groan. This action triggered the supposed doctors to face my direction. " Looks like subject 003 has awakened." I open my eyes and was instantly blinded by the bright light coming from the bulb. As I try to adjust my eyes, I notice someone in a white coat standing next to my hospitalization bed I assume. They seem rather amused by whatever situation I'm in. 

     " Where am I?" I question, as I continue looking around the room. " You in 'Hexus' dear boy." I focused my attention on him, studying his facial features as he continues to talk. " Do you know what that means?" I shook my head as no as I attempt to speak. "N-no, sir." I manage to get out. " Well 'Hexus' is a top-secret program that is heavily funded by world-leading corporations. This enables us to pick, choose, and refuse random people if we want, whether they like it or not to serve the government in a war against non-humans." I studied his facial features and moved my gaze from him to my left as I mentally analyzed what he had just said. In the process, I noticed that; I wasn't alone? 

     I c****d my head more to my left as I studied the features of the person next to me. It's a male, around the same age as me, if not older. "Oh, they are patients 001, 002, 004, and 005. Their new unit that will be working with you as soon as all of you pass the test trail." I moved my head back towards him. "Test trail?" " Yes, the trial determines what superhuman abilities you may receive. It also tests whether or not you can make it through. It all depends on sheer determination and will power Mr. Allen." 

     I opened my mouth to speak to ask him if that was my name, but he cut me off. " I think I have answered all your necessary questions," he says. He then turns towards a rather pale looking male around his twenties sitting at the desk. " Henry amplifies the Restoril. We don't want them awake for this part now do we." I stare frantically in space knowing that I would be asleep soon. Whatever this test trail was, I hope I pass with flying colors.
