Shana My body won’t stop shaking after William almost raped me out in the woods. It doesn’t matter that Vincent made a few phone calls and had William expelled from school and possibly his entire future ruined. I’m still traumatized. The worst part is that I don’t even think my brain has had enough time to process what happened. I’m still in shock. William hit me. My entire nose is broken, and there is a bad migraine pounding in my temples. I’ve had a couple of nurses look at me, and I’m currently sitting in a hospital bed—all thanks to Vincent. “You feeling any better?” Vincent asks from across the room. He has been reading a gossip magazine for the past hour and is refusing to leave me. It baffles me. My own mom wouldn’t come and check on me after the assault, but my worst enemy?
