Chapter 11 - Getting Out From The Forest (3)

The sky is now orange, and the sun has almost disappeared in the west, but in the forest, Kion and Aleisha are still walking.

Since they started walking a few hours ago, they never take a single rest, but Kion nor Aleisha doesn't looks like they are tired. While sweat is covering their body, but their expression seems that they are fine, even Aleisha face now is looked bright full of excitement.

"Eh, so you are fighting those ghouls almost all night since you awaken in this forest?! How many of them have you fought?!"

"I don't know, sometimes they're one or two few of them, and sometimes more than ten of them."

Kion told all his experiences during his stay on this mountain in two months. Starting from looking for non-toxic fruits, hunting wild animals, concocting medicine, to fighting ghouls. He tells almost everything except the blue screen that usually gives him missions and everything about it.

Aleisha who heard it became very excited because, for someone who always an adventures book, Kion story is truly amazing. Maybe because she too focuses on Kion story, she doesn't complain a bit during the journey.

When they are still walking, Kion suddenly stopped because of a ringing voice that suddenly appear in his head, and together with it, the transparent blue screen appear in front of him.

[URGENT MISSION]

1. Collect firewood together with Aleisha to make a bonfire (0/20).

2. Find a cave for rest tonight.

Thus like usually, that screen disappeared after he finish reading the context in it. He then turn his head to Aleisha who now is staring at him.

"what is it? why did you stop suddenly?"

"Collect firewood with me."

Aleisha eyes widened because of his word that looked like an order. She open her mouth what to say something, but then she thinking about something and changes what she want to say.

"No problem, but Kion, you have to add the word please help me next time."

"Why?"

"Because you will become very rude if not adding those phrases."

"I, see, so that will make become a bad person."

Aleisha smiling looked at Kion who now is remember what she just taught. With Kion as the lead, they began collecting firewood. In the middle of doing that, Aleisha meets with some animals like two rabbits who chasing each other, an owl who turned his head without turning his body on the tree, and a few hamsters that running with some food in their mouth.

In the end, because Aleisha is too focused on watching the wildlife of some cute animals. She only carries four firewood and Kion carries sixteen.

Looking at their very high differences, Aleisha feels guilty inside. She then said, "I am sorry Kion, I am too distracted with other things and doesn't help you very much."

"As long you bring some it is fine."

Aleisha feels relieved because of that. Kion himself doesn't care how much she carries as long she carries at least one, it is fine for him.

He is more concerned about finding the cave for their place to rest tonight. The sun is almost completely disappeared in the west, but he still can not be found it.

After walking for a while his eyes caught a cave not far ahead which was located in the middle of a rocky area.

"Follow me, Aleisha."

"Where? We continue walking?"

"No, we gonna get some rest."

Aleisha seems more happier because of that. After walking for a few minutes, when the sun is completely disappeared from the sky, they arrive in front of the cave entrance.

That cave is height as tall as an adult and has a width of two adults which for two ten years old child is very big and large.

Without wasting because it is already dark two of them go inside and sit to take some rest. Kion quickly placed all the firewood and some stone that he found in there then after light the bonfire he began making dinner by making some meat skewers like before.

After some minutes the meat skewers are ready and after Kion takes out two bottles of water, they began having dinner. After finishing the dinner Aleisha looked at Kion and said something.

"Hey Kion, I am curious about something, if you never meet any human before me, how you can use magic?"

Kion who is still busy packing some bottles of flavor he used before, replies without looking at her.

"I don't know, but anytime I want something to help me, it just pops up like that."

"I, see, that meant you are must be very talented with magic, because could very skilled with magic in our age."

Because of what Kion said she remembered some events that happen few years ago. When remembering that his eyes feel heavey and then he fall to sleep.

Kion himself who just finished packing, suddenly turn his head to the cave entrance because of the ringing voice in his head. Not far from there he could see some ghoul blue box moving to this place.

He then walking out, but when he stepping outside, he turn back again and touch his hand to the ground and water covering the cave entrance then he freeze those water making a ice wall. After finishing that he turn his body and then rushing to began his night fight.
