Chapter 13 - The old couple

When that carriage is no longer too far away, Kion and Aleisha finally have better vision on it. That carriage painted with brown color and being pull by four horse, also there are a pair of men and women that sit in front of the carriage.

“Those people, I think I know them.” Said Aleisha, she is then squinting her eyes trying to get better sight.

The carriage itself doesn't look like something special except for an emblem that not looked clearly in current distance. With few minutes, that carriage finally arrived in front of them, and they could see that carriage more clearly.

In front part of the carriage in the coachman position there are a pair of old man and woman that looked like they are more than thirty years old and both of them using classy clothes. On other hand, that couple also starting to caught their image.

“Is that some child's I saw over there?” Say the old woman while starting to patting the old man shoulder beside her.

The old man expression turning a little ugly then turn his face around and start talking, “Hah! That's impossible, how could be some child's would appear in this place? Your vision must be become more terrible after all those stuff from before.”

Veins sprang up on the old woman's forehead and she is then yelling back at him, “my vision is deteriorating! Your eyes are deteriorating, if it's not a child then what is it?!”

She quickly pointed her finger ahead, the old man turning his head into that direction and say, “I already said that impossible, wait are that some child's over there?!”

His eyes widened cannot believe what he saw because he thought there is no possibility that some child's in the middle nowhere like in this mountain.

While he is still lost in thought, suddenly someone slap his shoulder very hard and make him come back to his sense. He turn his head to his side and say, “why you do that?!”

The old woman replying him with same tone and say, “Why?! I should be the one who asking why you just blanked out like that?! Grab the leash and move faster! Who know if those child's are hurt and need our helps!”

“Yeah, you're right.” Thinking what her said is right, he doesn't waste more time to talk and make the carriage to move faster, but because that carriage weight is not light, their movement slightly increasing.

On other hand, Aleisha begin to remembering something and turning her face to Kion then say, “hey, let's head to that carriage!”

Kion moving his attention to her and say, “it is better to not approaching an unknown person.”

“But I know who are them! They should be a member from one of the merchant association's,” Aleisha then pointing at the front side of the carriage and then continue to say, “you see that crest? That's should be a crest from one of the merchant association's!”

“What you mean by 'should'?”

“Well, I don't really remember everything about those associations, but I am certain that they are not bad person!”

Kion looking at the carriage that moving to this place and thinking deeply until suddenly a ringing sounding in his head.

In his vision the same blue line like before appearing and pointing to the carriage. Kion then looking at Aleisha and thus say, “let's get to that carriage.”

“Yeah! I promise you not going to regret it because I believe they are not bad person's and surely will take us get out of here!” Say Aleisha in high spirit.

Kion staring at her for short times before turning around then walking to the carriage and Aleisha following him not far behind until they finally close to it.

Aleisha open her mouth, but before she could say anything the carriage suddenly stop and two people jumping from there.

One of them is the old woman who quickly running and hugging her tightly.

“Eh?!” She is gasping while her wide open and her eyes widening. Before she could do anything, the old woman whispering softly in her ear.

“You don't have to fear anymore, now no one going to hurt you again "

When her eyes found out how Aleisha condition before with dirt everywhere and some part of her cloths has been tattered, she quickly thought that Aleisha has been through something really terrifying, thus without second thought she is rushing to her and hugging her tightly.

Aleisha on the other hand only opening her mouth without saying anything, confused because of this situation, she don't know how to react until suddenly.

“Stay away from her,” say Kion in cold tone. He is then unsheathing his blue dagger, then the air surrounding this place slowly becoming colder.
