Chapter 14 - The Old Couple 2

The atmosphere immediately changing after his words. Aleisha bewildered because of him and then try for talking to Kion, but before she can do that, a warm feeling spreading started from her neck then quickly to her whole body. Her becoming blank and then a soft whisper sounding in her ear.

"You must be tired, why don't you just close your eyes and rest now?"

After Aleisha feel really sleepy and in less than thirty seconds, she already falls asleep. The old woman checked her for a while before change her attention to Kion, she is smiling softly and waving his left hand and say, "you don't need to be scared, please put down that thing, kids like you should be not use something dangerous like that."

Kion don't answer her, instead he's staring at her coldly. Seeing that the old woman thought he still scared to her and then want to do something to show that she meant no harm, but the moment she's moving, Kion begin to channeling mana to his weapon.

He's stomping ground in one step and dash quickly arrive in front of that old woman. He swing his dagger that already covered in cold air right to upper side of her head, but before his dagger could hurt her. A transparent shield like bubble appear in the middle of them protecting her from Kion, not only that after receiving his attack that shield emitting a small shock wave and throw Kion back for a few meters. Kion attack doesn't give any effect, but he doesn't stop.

Not wasting any time, when regain his balance he's unsheathing his second dagger and with all his power throw it right in the same place as before.

Different from before, this attack create some c***k in her but still reaching its target because only half of the dagger could pierce and breakthrough the shield.

Before Kion could do anything, five small thunder balls flying fast to him. He covers his body with wind and quickly dash to other place avoiding all that attack. But suddenly the land where he stood erupting lightning and struck him.

"Kugghhh!" He's gritting his teeth, feeling jolting excruciating pain spreading in his whole body. His eyes moving around very fast before stopping in some little water pool really close to him.

He bit his lips bearing the pain while slowly channeling mana in his finger and then with fast move he's waving his finger thus creating whirlwind around him, making those water pool together with some dirt flying in the air and thus with him in as the center small crater has been created.

The lightning is no longer erupting, but the pain is still there and his body feeling numb make him only can stand still.

Before he realizes someone appear behind him, he is the old man from before. He stuck out a silver staff wrapped in lightning to Kion and say, "bad kid must be receiving a punishment!"

Lightning that stronger than before struck Kion and the jolting pain come back again. After a few seconds, the lightning is stopped then Kion vision becoming more and more blurry until finally, he falls and lost his sense.

"Finally, it is over," says the old man then sigh deeply. He observed Kion from up and down then focused on the scabbard on his back, thus thinking, "how can such a little child have that kind of skill?"

He's then changing his attention to the old woman and say, "how about that girl?"

"She's fine, I make her fall asleep when that boy pointed his dagger to me that moment," say the old woman. She's then observing Kion for a while, then changing his attention to her husband and say, "didn't you a little too much with him? After all, he is only a little kid."

"Well, maybe you're right, but that little kid trying to kill you! Moreover, his ability is not bad at all, if I don't be serious it will be troublesome to stop him."

The old woman can't argue with that because everything he said is true, especially Kion ability sure is a little too good for someone in his age.

"Well now what, bring them with us or leave them here?" Ask the old man.

"It's obvious, right, of course we bring them with us! How could you're thinking for leaving them here!" She raises her voice in the end. Even if one of them make her in dangerous situation before, she cannot just leave some children alone in the middle of nowhere.

"Fine, then we bring them with us, but just in case he became wild again, I put a handcuff on him." He then touch his ring and make that ring radiance a little light, thus after short time a silver handcuff with some sorts of patterns on it appear in his hand.

He makes Kion using it, and then bring him in the carriage. The old woman also carry Aleisha and then place her the in the carriage.

"Hey, wouldn't it be better to place that girl, not near that boy?" Said the old man.

"Why?" Said the old woman while wrinkled her forehead.

"Well, maybe because that boy trying to kill somebody not long ago!"

"That's only because he is afraid of us, I am confident that he will not hurt her, his friend."

"Whatever, you're always thinking that all children innocent, remember that time in the ship, not all children are pure as you thought. Don't say I don't warn you if something goes wrong later." He then goes to the head of the carriage and sit in the place of driver.

"That only because those children in the ship that time grow in bad environment, but they are not." The old woman also sat in the head of the carriage next to him.

"And how do you know they are not grown in bad environment?"

They continue talking while the carriage moving slowly toward their destination together with the unconscious Kion and Aleisha.
