Chapter 8 Peace Keeper Faction Council Room: Freya
Hundreds of huge grey aliens stared at her as she walked through the council's chamber. Jata stopped near a table. He gestured to the single chair, and she took a seat. Then he walked off. She assumed he'd join Bash and O'Paka at the closest seating area. Her gaze lifted to the seven councilmen that sat in the raised seating at the end of the room.
"Freya Gashara, mate to Viltru, the War Chief of Hydri, are you aware of the charges presented against you today?" Freya nodded. "Then let us commence. If found innocent, you'll be handed over to Jata so he can arrange for a new mate for you, but if we find you guilty, we'll give you over to War Faction's Second, Ugon. They'll decide your punishment and your new mate, should you survive."
