Asher arrived at the hospital minutes later and parked roughly at the parking lot. He alighted from the car and walked briskly into the hospital.
Lisa gasped as soon as he walked over to the reception.
"You must be here for Ashley. She took the day off. I can call her for you if you..."
"I'm not here for her. Is the doctor around?" He cut her off impatiently, and she quickly nodded.
"Yes, he's around today. Do you have an appointment with..."
"I need to see him. I don't need an appointment to. Where is the way to his office?" He cuts her off, and she blinked her eyes a few times.
