It was finally lunchtime, so I was getting ready to go to the canteen when my phone began ringing. I cursed silently when I saw that the caller was Ace. For goodness sake, what the f**k does he want from me again? I hesitated before I swiped the answer button and held the phone to my ear.
"What do you---"
"I'm outside. Let's talk," His deep voice sounded over the phone and the call dropped almost immediately. I pulled a puzzled look as I looked at the screen of my phone to be sure that the person who called me was really Ace. What does he want to talk about again?
"Is everything alright, Ashley?" Lisa's voice pulled my attention, and I looked at her.
