Ashley Gustavo POV
"You really didn't have to pick me up from work, you know? It's still early, and I guess you would still be busy at work by now if you didn't—"
"Stop asking questions and just meditate if you have nothing important to say," He cut me off, and I breathed out. What was I expecting from an annoying man like him?
I had expected Asher to drive me home, but taking another route took me by surprise, and I had to look at him for an explanation.
"Where are we going?" I inquired.
"You will find out when we get there," He replied to me, and I breathed out briefly as I rested on the seat and stared at nothing, waiting for him to take me to wherever he was planning to. I didn't trust him, but I tried not to be too curious either.
Twenty minutes later, Asher drove in
