Chapter 3

Haize’s point of view

*The next day*

Haize rubbed his head and looked at his watch, it was ten minutes until five, he had finished all his work today, but it had been rough. It turned out to be not the best idea to go out with Ariana last night. She had been clingy all day, call and texting, she had even stopped by his office. Maybe he should just stop seeing her all together. She knows where they stand, if she is going to behave like this he will not be sticking around. What he does not need in his life is a clingy female.

Nora knocks on the door interrupting his thoughts. “Ms. Delaney is here to see you, Mr. Lenevo.”

“Alright Nora, tell her to have a seat and I will be out shortly”

Haize reached in the desk drawer and grabbed the keys to the first-floor office and headed out to the lobby to meet Ms. Cyprian Delany, the owner of the musical voice. He walked out to the lobby and there she was. She looked up and him and smiled, flashing the cutest dimples on both cheeks.

She stood up and held out her hand, “Hello Mr. Leveno, I am Cyprian Delany”

Haize grabbed her hand to shake it and felt a jolt of pure energy race through his whole body. “Nice to meet you Ms. Delaney” he said, lost in those deep blue eyes. My god he thought to himself. I do not know her, but I feel a crazy pull to her, like I have been waiting my whole life to meet her. He had a deep desire to get to know her every level.

“Please call me Cyprian” She said and flash another smile.

Haize felt his breath catch in his throat, yes, he wanted this woman. What was this intense draw he felt for her? They have only just met moments ago.  He cleared his throat and flashed her a sexy smile. “Alright Cyprian” he said with a wink “follow me and I will show you around the office space”

He was going to lay it on thick. He knew he could have any woman falling at his feet. He was not sure why he felt he needed to do this so much. He just wanted her, and he wanted her to want him. He headed out to the hallway and to the elevator, Cyprian followed beside him, still smiling.

The exited the elevator on the first floor and he unlocked the door, letting her go in first. Cyprian slowly walked around from room to room, she pulled out her phone and took some picture. Which she explained were to show the three other women who she partnered with. She told him about Sunshine Wellness and their goals for expansion, their dreams of creating a perfect wellness experience to treat the mind, body, and spirit.

Haize listened to her speaking, he was in love with that musical voice. He was also impressed with her vision and how hard she and her friends were working to accomplish their goals. This beautiful woman became even more intriguing for him. If she were here working every day, he would get the opportunity to know her more. He wanted to know everything about her. He secretly hoped that she would opt to lease this space.

As if reading his mind Cyprian said “It is perfect, and the price is well within our budget! I would like to fill out a rental application.”

“If you will leave your information with Nora, she will email you an application, fill that out and email it back. If everything checks out, you will be emailed a lease agreement. After you pay the deposit you can pick up your keys. The place will be available August 1st. But you can start moving stuff in the last week of the month.”

Cyprian’s smile became even wider and her eyes were dancing with joy. He excitement was palpable.

“Thank you, Mr. Lenevo!” She said reaching out her hand to shake his.

Haize flashed her a sexy grin and shook her hand. “Please Cyprian, call me Haize.” He drawled out in a sexy voice.

Again, when their hands touch, he felt a jolt of pure electricity run through his body. He held onto her and a bit longer. Her hand felt good in his hand. He was struck again by the desire to know her completely. Without letting go of her hand he turned her back towards the elevators. He was not ready to break contact with her just yet.

Once they stepped into the elevators, he released her hand, but still stood dangerously close to her. He breathed in her sent. God it was intoxicating. She smelled like honeysuckles and sunshine.

Haize was enjoying listening to her talk about her plans for the space in that musical voice. This woman was intoxicating. He was going to enjoy interacting with her everyday. 

When the elevator doors open Haize stepped out and turned to Cyprian and said "It was nice to meet you Ms. Delaney, I shall look forward to chatting with you more in the future." Then he hurried back into his office and shut the door.
