CHAPTER TWELVE –––––––– MCNAMARA AND JAMES decided to go to the pub where they had been told that the two lads from Dundee used to spend their evenings. That was their best bet because, at that hour, they wouldn’t have found anyone at the registrar’s office at the university anyway, and Deirdre knew their house only by sight. She didn’t have an address to give to them. Before driving to the pub, McNamara spoke to Jo and found out that she had already arranged with their colleagues from Dundee to have a constable watch over James Campbell. That pleased the DCI.
