MCNAMARA APPRECIATED the fact that two of the constables, Graham Fraser and Leslie Whyte, didn’t make any comments when he asked them to provide samples for the DNA testing. The two officers seemed confused and hurt because they were under suspicion, but they agreed to give genetic material immediately. After the technicians finished taking the samples, the chief inspector invited the constables to continue waiting in the interrogation room until the tests were concluded.
