As soon as I finished speaking, Zane's expression darkened.
He shot me an irritated look, then shoved Evelynn forward. "Go show her. Let her see that she's not the only one with money."
He pushed her hard enough that she stumbled several steps into the crowd.
Evelynn stood there looking panicked, still trying to hide the jewelry box.
