Over the weekend,
With some spare time on their hands, Sigourney and Theodore returned to the Nichols estate to visit her mom.
When they arrived, they immediately saw Emma attentively watering flowers in the garden.
"Mom, I'm here,"
Sigourney called out gently. At that moment, Emma turned her head slightly, smiling brightly.
"You're back? Theodore came too?"
Theodore's eyes lit up.
"Come on in, both of you. I'll have Butler John prepare some tea and sweet pastries for you."
Emma elegantly wiped her hands with a towel, carried the watering can along, and walked into the house with them. After handing the can to a nearby maid, she headed to the kitchen to wash her hands while Sigourney and Theodore sat in the living room.
