Sigourney lost her balance and fell in, the loud splash cutting through the air and bringing all conversations around to an abrupt halt.
Everyone was stunned by the sudden turn of events and rushed over to see what had happened.
"Someone help her, I don't know how to swim!"
"Call security! Hurry, someone's fallen into the water!"
"How did someone fall in here? Who is she?"
Amid the chaos of voices, Sigourney struggled in the water.
But because the shove had been too forceful, she had hit the edge of the pool as she fell, causing a cramp in her leg.
So each time she managed to surface, she would sink back down again, gradually slipping toward the bottom of the pool.
