Chapter 5

Anna's POV

"You think you can run from me? You are my slut! Mine only. When I find you, you are going to pay for everything you did!" Alpha Max Sayed while beating me with his belt as he had me. I started to scream and plea for him to stop, but he did not. Then he ripped my clothes off and started to rape me. I kept pleading for him to stop and screaming because it was painful, more painful than before. I was scared, really scared. But then suddenly I heard a voice. "Anna, Anna wakes up! It is a dream, a nightmare, wake up please." With that I opened my eyes and woke up, I shot up and backed away from Marcus afraid of him, he was too close to me. I understood he was trying to help me, but it was not what I need now. I was scared to death. "Hey, hey easy. I am not going to hurt you, I am going to stay on this site, why do you not try to calm down a bit and lay back down. You do not have to go back to sleep if you do not want that, but please, calm down. It was just a nightmare, you are safe here, I will protect you with my life!" after he said that I calmed down a little bit, and when I took a deep breath, I took in his sent, this also seemed to calm me down a little. Once I was breathing normally, he smiled at me. He looked at his watch and sighed. He looked up smiling looking at my face. "It is nine am, how about I call Daniel and get us some breakfast." He said smiling. I nodded, I was not hungry, I did not want food, I did not deserve food, I was not good enough, I was nothing. When the doctor came in, he smiled at me, He said that my blood was good and that I was almost completely free of poison, he gave me a once over and he said that I could try to stand up and walk to the packhouse with Marcus. He unhooked me from the machines and left my room. I placed my feed at the sides of the bed and scooted to the edge. I placed my feed on the floor and tried to place some weight on them. I succeeded, but my success did not last long because I had to sit back down because my legs could not carry me for long. "Are you alright, I can carry you if you want, l gets you a wheelchair." I looked up at him. "N-o thanks, I-I th-think I wi-ll ma-manage." I gave him a small smile with my answer to show him I was alright and appreciated him. He gave me the biggest smile yet, and I blushed and looked away. After a few more tries I was confident that I could walk, not fast, or even run, but walk. When he was sure I would not fall while trying to walk he gave me some clothes, sweatpants with a T-shirt, shoes, and underwear he told me I could get changed in the bathroom that was attached to the room. I took the clothes from him and whispered a small thank you to him when I left to put on the clothes. When I was in the bathroom and took off my hospital gown, I looked in the mirror, I saw a disgusting being that was fat and had a lot of scares, bruises, and other wounds. I quickly put on the clothes and left the room to go back to Marcus. He looked at me smiled and told me to follow him. He showed me the pack on the way to the packhouse I would be staying. He showed me the path that would lead to the village, the way that lead to the human town with a lot of shops, he named a couple, but I cannot remember them because I had never been to a shop and did not know what all those names meant so I just nodded. He told me about his pack, he has over ten thousand members that all have their job in the pack. He told me that he took over when he was twenty-one and the pack has gained a lot of members and land since then, I was impressed and scared by that at the same time. He told me he was the CEO of a big company so he could afford to take care of his whole pack. He showed me more paths that lead to multiple pack villages, he told me that each village has come to the pack when there was a shortage of room in another village. I started to wonder who lived in the packhouse if all his members were living in their own home in one of the villages. But I did not say anything. after an hour walk, where I had to sit down three times, we reached the packhouse, it was huge, a mansion! I was impressed, and I could not believe he wanted me to live there. When he saw my face, he chuckled and I looked away blushing, I did that a lot lately blushing. "This is the packhouse, it is where we have pack meetings and gatherings, members can also always come by to have food. I live here on the top floor, which is the alpha floor, beneath that is the beta floor and beneath that is the delta floor. On the bottom, two floors are guest rooms. There is a movie room, a gym, a kitchen, multiple bathrooms, multiple living rooms one on the alpha, beta, and delta floor and on the ground level, there is a big one. We also have a basement, there is a game room. The offices are found on the ground level, but I have a private one on the alpha floor, so do my beta and delta. There is also an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor one and a big garden you can walk around in. And I think that is about it." He said this while thinking if he forgot anything, I was shocked, that were a lot of things. "Alright let’s get in and show you the dining room and kitchen so you can have some food." I was still in shock when he let me in. He seated me at a large table and told me to stay there. after some time, he got back with two plates, they were filled with food and I wondered If he was going to eat all that. I was shocked when he placed one of them in front of me, I looked at it in awe. "I-i-s t-th-that f-for m-e?" I asked him to look at him. "Of course, it is, for who else is it supposed to be?" "I-I d-o not kn-know." I answered him. "Alright, let’s eat." With that said he dug in, I looked at my plate and picked up my fork, I did not want to eat but I thought that if I at a few bites he would be happy if I said I could not eat more, so that is what I did when I had four bites, I felt like throwing up, I could not eat any more, so I placed my fork down. He looked at me with a confused face. "Are you full?" I nodded my head and looked at his plate, he had eaten everything and looked like he could eat my barely touched plate. "Do y-you want t-o ea-eat m-mine? I asked him. He looked at me, nodded his head, and took my plate, he ate all of it while I kept looking at him, not understanding how someone could eat so much. When he was done, he looked at me. "How about I show you around a little?" I nodded my head at that and stood up. We walked to the hallway and pointed out where the basement was with the game room, the big living room, kitchen, movie room, indoor pool and the door that let outside. Then he went upstairs and told me that this was the first guest floor, and we went upstairs, to the delta floor, then to the beta floor, and lastly to the alpha floor. He showed me his private office and he showed me his private living room with kitchen and dining room. Then he showed me the bedrooms, he walked to his room opened the door and told me to go in. In his room was a big king size bed with black covers, a comforter and a lot of pillows. His walls are black and white, with a few pictures. He had a couch in his room with a big television and a table. There was a desk, some chairs, and a big bookshelf. There were two doors. “The left door goes to the bathroom, and the other one goes to the closet. And the big glass door leads to the balcony, it has a beautiful view.” I could not say anything, I saw him sitting on his bed. “What do you think of it? Do you like it?” He asked me. I nodded my head and he smiled. I looked at him a little confused. “Wh-where d-do y-you want-t m-e t-o sl-sleep?” I asked him. He looked at me confused, I figured I would be sleeping in the basement or attic, I was just waiting for him to show me. “You are sleeping here, in my room, in my bed. I do not want you to sleep anywhere else.” He stated I was shocked, I did not want to sleep in the same bed as him, I could not I was not ready. He must have seen the panic on my face. “Hey, easy, we are not going to sleep in the same bed. I will not touch you until you are ready, I promise you.” This calmed me down a little, but I was confused, where was he going to sleep. “Wh-where a-are y-you go-going t-o sl-slee-p?” I asked him. In this room, just on the couch, do not worry, I do not mind, I want to, and no buts, because I am going to. And since you look tired and you just woke up from a coma, and are not completely healed, why do you not have a shower and I will give you some clothes you can sleep in and you go to sleep, I will go and leave you alone and wake you up for dinner.” I looked at him, he wanted me to take a shower, like a real shower, or a bucket of ice water. “D-d-o y-yo-you me-mean a-a r-r-eal sh-show-er?” “Yes, what else would I mean?” He looked at me and then he understood that I never had a real shower, and I felt ashamed, so I looked down. I felt the tingles and he was in front of me lifting my chin to look into my eyes. “How about I show you how the shower works with all the soaps and shampoos? And then leave you be, I will put everything in the bathroom and if you need help after I have explained everything you just ask me, alright?” I nodded my head and he left to the closet, he came back with a big T-shirt and shorts and a big fluffy towel. He signed me to follow him and I did. He explained How the shower worked and where everything was for. After that he left me alone to shower, I stripped and did what he had explained to me. After I was done, I dried myself and put on the clothes and I folded the others back up and took them with me. He was still there when I came out of the bathroom when I came out, he smiled at me, he saw the clothes in my hands and he stood up and took them from me and put them down on the couch and he let me his bed. He told me to lie in it and get some sleep, he would be back to check on me and give me some food. After he left, I looked at the bed, I had never been in a real one, I lied down in it, it was soft and comfy, once I lied down and my head hit one of the many pillows I was out like a light.

Marcus POV

After I left Anna in the shower, I sat on my bed thinking of the past few hours I had spent with her. She looked at everything I showed her like it was the first time she saw it, it made me sad to think that she never had any experience in her life. When she saw the food, I had for her she was confused like, how would she eat all of it, I did not expect her to eat everything of it, I mean there were pancakes, sausages, bacon, beans, potatoes, toast, fruit, and orange juice, but I thought she would eat more than four bites. And she seemed to be scared to ask me anything or even speak to me. And the sleeping arrangement, I was happy about it, and I thought I had made it clear to her, but she is really scared of me. I think I am going to sleep in the room next door for time being until she is settled in after that I will go sleep on the couch and when she asks me to sleep in the same bed I will, but not before that. I heard the shower in the background, and I smiled at myself how I explained to her how the shower worked she seemed interested and I was happy I could tell her something. But I was also confused, why did she not know how it worked, and why did she ask me if I meant a real shower. She has been treated badly, and I plan to make her forget everything. I was so consumed by my thoughts that I did not see her coming out of the bathroom, when I looked up, she was coming out with the clothes I had given her earlier neatly folded in her hands. I stood up walked over to her and took the clothes. I put them down on the couch and let her to the bed. “How about you go lie down and get some sleep. I will check up on you in a few hours and give you some food.” After I said that I stood up and walked to the door, when I looked back, I saw her looking at the bed with a frown on her face, I hoped she would go lie in it. I left the room and went to my office to do some work I had to do because I did not do anything when my little mate was in the hospital and I have a lot of work to catch up on when I opened my door, I saw the mountains if paperwork waiting for me.
