After they moved Christopher’s now unconscious body, the family dispersed as if they had no reason to stay together anymore. Fiona stepped aside and quickly headed up to her room, while Wyatt directly left after the death was confirmed.
Carla wasn’t in any better state at that moment and simply sad there with a blank stare, not saying anything. The oldest son Jamie, who was as per usual quiet, left soon after he made sure his mother was alright.
The servants simply did their usual duties that night, most of them had a personal connection with the man that died but none of them dared shed a tear for his passing… for they didn’t wish to further disturb the family that was trying to hard not to be reactive to the tragedy that befell them…
