Owen was a realist at best and sometimes pessimistic at worst… He didn’t believe in luck to somehow bring the things he needs to him. Now did he ever wish for things that were impossible or completely out of his reach. He knew there was a possibility that the relationship he has and the contract that was placed could be so easily ruined by so many factors that it was even difficult to count them all…
For example there was a chance that Philip could someday cheat when he gets more confidence in himself. Of course it’s not that likely now given his meek character but it wasn’t out of the question.
