Chapter 8

I could feel my eyes getting heavy. It must have been about 11.30pm and we had already watch Divergent, Fantastic 4 and one i choose just to see if he'd get pissed off Love Happens. But it didn't phase him at all plus i started to fall asleep on his shoulder. I can feel him trying lift me up bridal style then walking towards the stairs i leaned me head into him. I hope to god this was all just a dream i'm living in just now and i'd wake up in the pack house in my own bed alone.

"Josh" I whispered out tirely " Your not sleeping in the same bed as me tonight" I'm giving him a chance but him sharing a bed was a no, no right now. He grunted under his breath and then put me down in the master room. Yeah he wasn't happy and i couldn't care less, he still had to prove himself. He pulled the blanket up over me. Then walked out the room.

I'm sure he is away into the other bedroom to sleep but then i heard the back door open and close. Must be slucking away cause I figured.

The morning soon came around and as i'm just starting to wake up i notice i have a arm around me. I guess sleeping the spare room wasn't good enough for him. I rolled onto my back to steal a sneak peak. He arm still draped over me and his face was so close that i could feel his air coming out his nose as he inhaled and exhaled.

I needed to get up to pee, how am i meant to do that with a heavy arm holding me in place. I tried to wriggle away. Tried to push him closer to the edge of the bed so he'd fault out. I almost had him right on the edge.

"What are you doing" s**t i thought he was in a deep sleep.

"I thought i said we weren't to share a bed?"

"I couldn't sleep, my wolf wouldn't settle until i was next to you" He shrugged. I laughed as he blamed his wolf.

"I gotta pee can you let me up please" as soon as he lifted his arm up i bolt out of bed to the bathroom. On my return he was on his stomach sprawled out. He then noticed me and move to let me back in.

"I'm good, i think i'll get dressed and have brekkie" I turned towards the wardrobe for spare clothes since mines were still over at the pack house. But there was nothing here. "We will need to go back to the pack house i have no clothes here"

"Your brother brought a bag over last night. It's in the other room. I didn't want to wake you up." Nodding i left the room in hunt for this bag of clothes. He was right it was on top of the bed. I feel like my brother is in on this somehow even though he knows i hate Josh for what he has done to me, He's trying to help Josh out for god knows what reason.

I got changed and headed down stairs. Josh was down there making some food, i turned on the kettle and sat at the other end of the tabletop waiting for the kettle to click off.

"Pancakes" Slipping a plate in front of me smelling delicious. I mean the pancakes not him. I'm not googling his topless body walking around like he knows where everything is oh no.

Kettle was ready and i was about to make myself a cuppa but Josh went over and started making me one. I guess he remembers i can't start my day without one. Little milk and 2 sweeteners, placed it in front of me . Smiling at my cup "what's funny?" He asked as i took a sip.

"Nothing" looking up briefing and back to my pancakes. Josh has stayed over a few times a week my house with Antony. They'd be up late playing video games. Or teasing me and Lucy when we had sleepovers. those were the days weren't he wasn't so bad. Then he grew up. 

"So what do you wanna do today? any board games"

Finishing my pancake i was chewing before i replied "Yeah we have a few"

After breakfast we went into the livingroom to see what games were here. I pulled out monopoly from the top pile. I'd like this game it goes on for hours. I choose the dog and he choose the ship. Both took turns to see who got the highest number to start. He was beating me and i was losing money then i had to start selling of my building. Ok i wasn't doing so well this time round he plays it better than me.

Around lunch we decided to make some sandwiches and sit outside. I wondered where all the food came from as he had none in before.

"Where did the food come from?" I asked Josh as he brought out glasses of water and place one in front of me other in front of him.

"When you feel asleep and told me to go sleep else were i went back toward the pack house and drove to a open shop to buy stuff. That's when i came back to your bag outside the front door with a note on it"

"A note? What did it say"

"Your brother being a cunt" I looked at him questionly. " Your brother isn't giving me a easy time about you and making sure i don't f**k up" Taking a bite of his own sandwich.

I had to laugh and i could tell Amber was happy too. This was definitely a Antony thing. He'd probably have his binoculars out spying on us.

"Fancy a run?" Amber wanted to stretch her legs and being coup up here wasn't helping

"Can you keep up?" Sipping the last of his water then glancing over at me.

"Me keep up with you?" He must be kidding right. I got up and stripped to my underwear. I don't care if they shred to pieces they are replaceable "Don't get any ideas" I say before shifting and running off. He was right behind me. Yes i know we are on a we isle so we swam over to the mainland and ran through the forest.

I made him follow me towards a waterfall. He did try to over take me but then i'd change course and he'd get mad, not that way he use to just annoyed i'd change path and he'd be still running the other way until he noticed i'm not there. He came running at me nudging over onto my back and started licking my face. I turned my head while trying to wriggle free, once back on my feet i started running again. The waterfall came into view. I jumped and shift so that i was diving into the water in human form.

Yeah i was naked but he wouldn't see the much. I wasn't ashamed of my flabby bits it was more due to them picking on me about it. Josh dived in right behind me, I swam around in a circled looking for him to pop up but instead he pulled me under a little bit. Making me splash him as i came back up.

"This place i love" I say leaning my head back and spinning in the water.

"i can see why" He placed his arms on my waist supporting us both floating there staring at one another.

"Are you going to let me kiss you yet?" He asked but i wasn't sure if i was ready for that. Without answering i ducked under the water swimming away from him. He has no idea how much i've wanted to kiss him but not now i'm finding it hard. I still get flash back of him sleeping with other girls. Bullying me when we were in school. I jumped out the water glanced back at him and shifted back into my wolf running back to the pack house rather than the house on the island. Josh was quick to catch up though he followed me back. We got to the tree line and shifted back

"Why did you run" I felt so embarrassed, I did want to kiss him i did but how do i tell him i'm not ready. I played with my feet in the leave while standing there naked in front of him. My back was up against the tree. Eyes on the floor biting my lower lip.

Josh placed a hand under my chin to make me look up at him. "If your not ready i get it, I need to earn your trust back" He found a spare top next to another tree and gave me it. He threw on a pair of shorts. The top was just long enough to cover my bum. I was tugging it to make it longer but it wasn't happening.

I'm placed my hand on his chest and looked up at him "I'm not ready, as much as i want to i don't feel i'm ready to. Plus it's to soon. If i kiss you now you could easy ditch me tomorrow going back to your old ways" I made sure to put him in his place for now on.

He nodded "Ok we will take it at your pace, as much as i want you right now. I owe you that and i promise" He took my hands looking deep into my eyes crouching down a little to look at me properly " I will never hurt you again. I swear" 

"mm" I replied as we started walking towards the back door of the pack house.

My Aunt and Uncle, James, my brother and Lucy were all in the kitchen staring at us as we walked in half naked holding hands. They all had the same look on their faces, eyes popping out their head.

"What" We both said in unison.
