Episode 4: The Mysterious Ally

Aryaman's eyes narrowed as he studied Nalini's face. He couldn't quite read her expression, but he sensed that she was hiding something.

"What do you know about Kabir?" Aryaman asked, his voice firm.

Nalini's smile faltered for a moment, and Aryaman caught a glimpse of something else in her eyes. Something that looked almost like... fear.

"I know that Kabir is a powerful sorcerer from the world of Tamas," Nalini said, her voice measured. "I know that he was bound to your body by the Great Convergence, and that he's been trying to assert his control over you ever since."

Aryaman's eyes widened as he processed this information. "How do you know all this?" he asked.

Nalini's smile returned, but it was tinged with a hint of sadness. "I've been watching you, Aryaman," she said. "I've been waiting for you."

Aryaman's mind reeled as he tried to understand Nalini's motivations. Why was she helping him? What did she hope to gain from their alliance?

As he looked at Nalini, he saw something in her eyes that gave him pause. It was a deep, abiding sadness, a sense of loss that seemed to echo through every cell of her body.

"Nalini, what's going on?" Aryaman asked, his voice softening. "What's driving you to help me?"

Nalini's eyes flashed with a hint of anger, but it was quickly extinguished by a deep, abiding sorrow.

"I'm helping you because I have to," Nalini said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm helping you because I owe it to someone I loved."

Aryaman's eyes widened as he realized the depth of Nalini's emotions. He sensed that she was driven by a complex web of motivations, and that her actions were not entirely altruistic.
