Episode 8: The Memories Fade

339 Words
Aryaman's mind was a jumble of thoughts and emotions as the ancient magic washed over him. He could feel his memories fading away, like sand slipping through his fingers. He tried to hold on to them, to cling to the memories of his past life. But it was no use. The ancient magic was too powerful, and his memories were slipping away, one by one. Aryaman's eyes snapped open, and he found himself back in the temple, standing in front of the statue of Arinthal. Nalini was standing beside him, her eyes gleaming with a fierce determination. "It is done," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "The ancient magic has been awakened, and you have been given the power to control Kabir." Aryaman's mind was reeling, trying to process the implications of what had just happened. He knew that he had been given a great gift, but he also knew that it came with a great cost. He looked at Nalini, his eyes searching for answers. "What about my memories?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Nalini's expression was somber. "They are gone," she said. "Erased from your mind, lost forever." Aryaman's eyes widened in shock, his mind reeling with the implications. He knew that he had lost something precious, something that could never be replaced. But he also knew that he had gained something new, something that could change the course of his life forever. As Aryaman stood there, trying to process the implications of what had just happened, he felt a strange sensation building inside him. It was as if Kabir's presence was growing stronger, more powerful. Aryaman's eyes narrowed, his mind focusing on the task at hand. He knew that he had to learn to control Kabir, to harness his power and use it for good. But as he looked at Nalini, he knew that he couldn't do it alone. He needed her help, her guidance. And he knew that he had to be careful, that Nalini's motives were not entirely pure.
