This was what she was talking about, wasn't it? Ha, for someone who lied to me and seemed so suspicious, she sure did care. Was I wrong to judge her so quickly? After all, the only thing she did was set up a meeting and lie to me about who set it up. Maybe she was telling the truth when she said that it was to keep me calm before so this wouldn't happen. No way, that's not why, is it?
"Someone get me some water! Hurry!"
Why is she trying to help me now? What's her motive?
"Hey you.. don't.... have to... help me... you know that.... right?"
"I'm helping because I want to, not because I have to."
"I'm..... sor-"
"Here's the water you asked for."
"Thanks Dani. Here drink this and try to calm down. Take deep breathes too."
"Hey Helia, can we talk?"
"Sure."
"Somewhere private."
"Oh, okay. Will you be fine here by yourself Ashe?"
"Yeah, I'll be fine. You guys go talk."
Daniel, don't say anything that you'll regret saying later.
"Something wrong Dani?"
"Yeah, what's going on? Behind the scenes I mean."
"I don't know what you mean."
"Yes you do. Like, why did you set up that meeting?"
"I'm going to tell you the same thing I told Ashe, I did it so she'd be comfortable for when she had to explain."
"Just because you tell both of us the same thing doesn't mean it's the truth."
"I can't believe you right now. Did you forget that your girlfriend-"
"She's not my girlfriend."
"Oh right I forgot that you're to scared to tell her your true feelings. Either way did you forget that she just had a panic attack. We should be over there comforting her right now., not arguing about this."
"..."
"Exactly what I thought. Now come on. She not gonna wait for us forever."
What just happened? What did they talk about?
"Hey Ashe. Are you okay now?"
"Yeah I'm fine. What did you guys talk about?"
"Oh, nothing important."
"I'm- I'm gonna go back in there, okay?"
"O- Okay."
"See ya Dani!"
"..."
Huh? What was that all about?
"You and Daniel are good, right?"
"Yep totally. The greatest."
"Okay. Um as I was trying to say earlier. I'm sor-"
"The recess is almost over let's head back in there. You can tell me later, right?"
"Yeah, I can.... tell you later."
Why was she rushing to head back in? There was still 5 minutes left. As far as I've known she's never cared about timing before. So what's the big deal now? Somethings not right.
"Uh, hey where are we going? The court room is that way."
"Oh, is it? My bad, hehe."
Something is definitely off.
"I guess you have to go sit over there again. Will you be okay?"
"Yeah I'll be fine."
"Okay. Hey Dani! Let's sit together!"
I don't like this. She is way to cheery. And how could she possibly mess up what room we're in, she headed directly away from it! Something is definitely wrong here, no doubt about it.
"Can I have everyone back to their seats please! Everyone, back to your seats."
What ever is going on, I need to hurry up and figure it out because I can't afford to have anything clouding my thoughts right now.
