Chapter 9
Micah was walking toward her with a smile on his face. He waved and called out her name. Alicia started running toward him when the bright and sunny landscape became dark and they were surrounded by dull block walls on each side of them.
Micah lowered his arm and the smile vanished from his face. Two large, claw like hands appeared from the darkness behind him and wrapped around his neck. Alicia watched in horror as his clothes were ripped by unseen hands and long b****y welts appeared on his skin like he’d been struck with a whip.
