The Last Stand in Hell

1921 Words
The night turned silent as the prince walked deeper into the darkness. Even the wind seemed to stop. With each step, they felt more uneasy. One of his group members, who had walked non-stop for five days, said his leg hurt. The prince decided to stop and look for a place to rest. They picked up the hurt member and started to search for a light area. As they walked, they heard a sound. Someone said it might be a river flowing by. The thought of finding water after so long made them feel better. They took a bath in the river and set up camp nearby. The prince sat by himself, lost in his thoughts. His so-called uncle came up to him and asked why he was sitting alone on such a quiet night. "I'm just thinking about how I'll kill him," the prince said, sounding upset. "There are so many ways, but none of them feel right. I want him to feel sad and beg me to end his life." His uncle, who knew about the prince's history and confidential matters, gave an understanding nod. "Alright, but keep that bandage on your arm until we get to where we're going. Don't take it off if you can help it. You've got grit, but if you end up in a spot where you have to make sure your team doesn't see you like that." The prince told him not to stress but made it clear that if he got cornered, he didn't want his team to see him at his weakest. His uncle chuckled and said, "We kicked off this trip with you, and we'll see it through to the end. Let's drop this topic. Time to move." As they got ready to head out, soft noticeable steps sounded behind them, getting louder bit by bit. Yet, every time the prince looked back, he saw nothing. He and his uncle both caught on to this weird thing. The prince called out to his group, "Stay sharp. We've got some surprise visitors." The team grabbed their weapons and started looking for whoever was out there. Out of nowhere, a huge brawny beast came out of the river. Everyone froze in shock, but The prince held his sword ready to face the beast and attack it. The creature stopped and placed its weapon at Haris's feet. "My lord, I've looked for you for 25 years! Where have you been?" Haris felt shocked, and everyone around them stood amazed. One of Haris's friends asked the creature how it knew Haris. The creature said, "I'm Yamnktta. I used to guard for his mother. Before she died, she told me to go and not get involved in the fight with the devil. She made me swear to wait until you found me and to keep you safe from all evil. She said you'd come to fight the devil lady one day, and then I should show myself. So here I am, my lord." The prince, surprised, looked at his uncle for answers. The prince, touched by this news, stood up and put his hand on Yamnktta's shoulder. "I'm happy to meet you. Don't call me 'lord'; think of me as a friend. Do you know a quick way to the devil's home?" Yamnktta went on. “Ya, but it’s a difficult path. It’s a thin mountain with unsafe altitudes.” He gestured toward a suspended rock and proclaimed, “That’s the way to the devil’s home steady.” The prince commanded to his gang, “I am not going to wait for the dawn. I’m going there now and that is final. You have to remain here and wait for me to return.” In the first place, his gang was insubordinate. “We will go with you, whatever it takes, through light and dark, as you always stand with us!” That was the promise and the swear. The prince, however, firm as a rock, gave in to them. “Okay, but I don’t want that now. You should come in the morning when the sun arises. Is that good?” They complied but with doubts in their mouths as to the logic behind such a claim. “You’re our leader. How come you won’t let us help you when it is obvious that we can do so?” His uncle cut in, “Hars is right. We would only slow him down in this case. We have to recalculate our strategy and marshal our forces. We are not just fighting with another gang; we are fighting with a thing which is beyond us.” One member asked why they were allowing the prince to go alone. His uncle replied, “He is different. He is capable of things which this, and any, world cannot think of, or do. Let him go.” The prince bid his members goodbye and left in company with Yamnktta. After an hour, they frequently reached a stand-up mountain. They had to climb it and at the top, they found the gates of hell. An earthquake jolted Haris awake from sleep only to realize that he was slipping into a deep drowsiness. After four hours, Haris woke up and stretched, only to find out that he was having Yamnktta’s hand in his. Yamnktta was in a state of confusion and in desire of despair when she hurriedly said, “Don’t leave my hand, please don’t leave my hand.” Being tired, Haris didn’t answer them out loud, knowing the purpose of this lack of movement and waiting throughout for the last effort to be made. Two more hours went by and again, until when Haris opened his eyes, he could see Yamnktta who was still saying, “Please don’t leave me. Please don’t leave my hand.” At that moment, realization dawned on Haris: it was Yamnktta who was clinging to him. It was him, not Yamnktta who was the one holding, on the mountain. In a moment of clarity, Haris got up and said, “Yes! My mother was correct! If you were present, none would have died.” He was shaken with emotion, and he quickly grasped Yamnktta in such a way. They finally reached the door of hell. A cold, oppressive force pressed down on the prince, making it difficult to breathe. Upon entering, a red, heated light enveloped them, followed by total darkness. They could no longer see their hands. The prince began to hear soft, urgent whispers in the darkness, as if the shadows themselves were warning him. He focused on the voice of his mother, running ahead with Yamnktta. They fell into a hot river and, upon standing, were surrounded by millions of demons of various shapes and sizes. Some were flying, while others stood still, some muscular, others thin and small. The demons were stunned, unable to comprehend how a human could breach the gates of hell. The prince drew his sword and demanded, “Where is the devil lady who calls me her son? I am here to sever her head!” Before he can finish his sentence, Yamnktta hits the head of the prince, and he falls off. The demons were shocked into silence. The prince, now bound by iron chains, roared in fury. The devil queen, who resembled his mother, appeared. Though she was not his mother, she was a devil. “Why are you so angry?” she asked, feigning concern. The prince replied, “Come closer. I have something to confess.” As she leaned in, he bit her ear and threw her away. “Kill me if you dare,” he taunted. “But you will not succeed. I am here to avenge my mother.” Yamnktta, who is actually the devil's queen's husband, held a sword to the prince’s neck, pleading for permission to execute him. The queen refused, insisting on patience. The prince, observing the scene, asked the queen what she wanted from him. She demanded he pick up the devil’s sword and pierce her heart. “Can you do that?” she taunted. “Yes,” the prince responded. “I am here to fulfill that task.” From this, the ultimate power level will be archived only when the blood of her master, the mother of a prince, does that, as we know the prince's mother is no more, so Haris is the one, who can help him to get the ultimate power As the devilish queen laughed wickedly, Haris was suddenly released from the chains. He threw his sword at Yamnktta, and Yamnktta’s head fell to the ground, shocking everyone into silence. Haris, determined, declared, “He betrayed me, so I had to kill him.” The devilish queen screamed in rage, “How dare you kill my husband Yamnkttaaaa! He was my life!” She then transformed dramatically: her face turned dark, her hands elongated, and she flew into the sky, retrieving the black sword from Yamnktta. The queen attempted to strike Haris’s neck, but Haris leaped into action, fighting back. Their battle was fierce, with dark lightning flashing with each clash of the devilish sword. Observers noticed the growing energy gap between Haris and the devilish queen. The queen’s powerful strike sent Haris crashing to the ground. Haris, unable to retaliate, watched as the queen landed and grabbed him by the neck, cutting his arm. Suddenly, she realized something strange: she had cut through a bandage on Haris’s arm. The bandage concealed a hidden bomb, and the explosion sent the devilish queen flying away. As the dust settled, the onlookers saw Haris’s true form: a towering, muscular figure with dark skin, six black wings, and flames emanating from each wing. Haris had achieved his full potential, and his presence was overwhelming. He soared into the sky, disappearing in a flash of light. When he landed, the ground cracked, lava erupted, and Haris drove his sword, now transformed into a long, fiery weapon with black needles. He griped the devil's queen from the neck, demonstrating his brutal strength. the sword into his head and withdrew it, or he kept striking until the head was embedded in his body. The demons, terrified, closed their eyes, fearing Haris’s power. Haris threw the devilish queen’s body into the lava and unleashed a torrent of red and black flames from his mouth, reducing the queen’s body to ashes. He then ascended to the throne, announcing to the demons, “From now on, no human will be harmed by you. You will spend your lives here. One of you, the strongest among you, go and summon all the demons. Your true king commands it.” The mountain, once the domain of the wicked queen, disappeared. Haris’s gang members, flooded with emotion, started to weep. Haris’s uncle, his head in his hands, mourned, “This is all my fault. Why did I let him leave?” In the midst of the turmoil, Haris shouted, “You’re all so annoying!” He was seen sipping water and chuckling, having finally exacted his revenge. With a grin, Haris proclaimed, “Let’s head home.” They all returned joyfully, embarking on a new chapter in their lives. Haris ascended to the throne, his uncle became a royal advisor, and his gang members took on leadership roles in various cities across his kingdom.
