CLARISSA’S POV Landon pulls up to my house. The deep rumble of his motorcycle vibrates through my body as I hop down. The cold night air bites at my skin, but the fire in my chest burns hotter. I turn to him. "Where the hell have you been?" I demand. Landon pulls out a cigar, lights it with the flick of his silver skull lighter, and takes a slow drag, exhaling a thick cloud of smoke into the night air. His lips curve into a smirk.
