LANDON’S POV I straighten my jacket, pretending to adjust my cuffs as I walk toward the hallway. Elise watches me with a smirk. Her eyes are heavy with expectation. "Don’t keep me waiting too long," she purrs. I force a chuckle, keeping my expression neutral. "Wouldn't dream of it." As soon as I step out of sight, my entire body tenses.
