Amullette's POV
When Dr. Kepp left, Amullette returned to the house and spent the day in front of the viewing screen. She fell asleep at some point and was startled awake by the sound of the doorbell. She answered it to Dr. Kepp returning to the house with Mikaya bouncing around happier than Amullette had expected to see her.
“You had a good day?" she asked the child as she knelt in front of her and gave her a hug.
“I saw so many other children," Mikaya explained excitedly. “And Avia is there. She is super fun!"
Amullette was not sure what that meant. She looked to Dr. Kepp.
“Avia is our class aide," she explained.
“Oh. Were the kids nice?" she asked Mikaya.
'Yes, and I met a good friend. Her name is Sarah. She sat next to me all day and played with me during recess."
