Amullette's POV
“Well, that is great news, isn't it?" Amullette asked.
“Yes, but I wanted to be the one to tell you that Admiral Kroan is in line to be the Sovereign of that colony," her uncle stated.
Amullette was not sure if Dr. Meadow had overstepped by informing her of this already, so she pretended not to already know.
“That is great news, isn't it?" Amullette could not help repeating herself.
“Kroan has asked for you to receive a full pardon," he stated. “The Elders are in line to agree. They believe the image of the two of you as innocent survivors of your colony will help bring pride to the habitat."
That didn't make any sense to Amullette. But, she knew there was something more. She waited patiently for them to get to the point of their visit.
