Dr. Kim Dongwoo silently walked out of the operation room and headed directly for Asahi.
“Mr. Haga,” said Dr. Kim Dongwoo softly.
“I’m sorry to say but we have come to a tough decision over here.”
Dr. Kim Dongwoo stopped for a few seconds before continuing, “We can only save one. The mother or the baby.”
Dr. Kim Dongwoo remained professional as he asked, “Because you are Alya’s closest guardian, who do we save?”
Asahi answered without hesitation as he looked Dr. Kim Dongwoo in the eyes.
“Save Alya. Not the baby.”
