I grumble as the morning sun hit my skin, light peeking through my open window, the cool breeze of air going in.

Waking up is hard for a lazy person like me, my body still wants the warmth of my blankets, it seeks the comfort it needed

Today is my first day of school though I don't feel like it, school for me is one of my hated and loved, I like learning but I hate interacting with people, it's awkward for me maybe because of my past or I'm just like it

Getting ready, I tidied my room and go to the kitchen, I instantly greeted by the delicious smell of adobo that my mother is cooking

"Good morning son" my mother said as she settled the food on the table

"Where's Papa?" I ask because papa ussually live at 9 and it's only 7

"Your father go to the restaurant early because today is the opening, don't you remember?"mama ask, I just nod clearly understanding,

I finished my food quickly and get ready for school, I will go to Baguio All boys International school that's 15 minutes walk from my house

The front of the school is quite simple compared to where I go to in Australia,

The school has an aesthetic ambiance around it

Taking a deep breath, I started walking towards the main hall where the assigned students who gathered were assigned to a new student or a transfery

Walking to the sophomore lane, there's only me and another student who look like an Kpop Idol

"Hey, what's your name and where you from?" He ask, in thought he's some weird dude, his accent is a bit hard to understand

I looked back and there were only us, I point at myself "are you talking to me?" I Ask dumbfounded cause this is the first time someone talk to me without saying some s**t and looking at me like I'm a trash

He laughed "Silly, obviously there's only me and you in this line"

I laughed awkwardly "My name is Eidan Gray and I'm from Australia"

"The name's Kyle Yu, I'm Korean and I'm 19" he beamed like a Child, I smiled my first ever smile in a month

I sighed maybe I can try again, try to make friends that's the purpose why I'ma here

We line up and immediately get our schedules, we compared it and found we have the same major, we both take up literature, most of our classes are together just one or two that doesn't

The school bell rang and we go to our first subject class, we go in and all students attention goes to us, a Korean student with an Aussie-Fil-Thai mix race

We take our sit at the back, i sat near the window and he sit beside me, the tables and chairs are by pair

The teacher goes in and as what I hated the most at first day, Introducing one's self

"I know there are two transfery at your class can you bit stand up and introduce yourself"

Kyle stands up first "The name's Kyle Yu I'm 19 and from South Korea" he winks at the girls who instantly blush

Kyle look at me so it's my turn "The name's Eidan Gay I'm 18 and from Australia"

The teacher proceed to the lesson that not that much since it's first day

Lunch passed quickly and it's our last subject of the day, no teacher came in but a tall and lean Moreno

have meeting right now and you are all allowed to go home after you finished this worksheet I will give to you"
