A New Hope

Chapter 7

Gabriel didn't say much more after he got back to the room. He was distraught and almost distant. His real father calling after 28 years would have that effect on anyone though.

When I pushed to know more Gabriel just told me that his father was sending someone to explain more and they should be here in four days. That I wouldn't believe him if he told me and that he hardly believed it himself.

We spent the rest of the night cuddling and he some how managed to restrain himself from doing anymore than that.

The next morning I woke up on my own again to the same routine and this time when he came back he had multiple bags for me to open. I scolded him again, but he said he owed me a dress and panties and will probably do the same thing again so he got extras. He also got me a couple pairs of flats to replace the ones I lost the night before.

He seemed to be back to his cheerful self and we spent the next two days at the beaches, exploring, and of course making love several times a day. Since he talked to his father, he wouldn't go into such a frenzy everytime I got close to him, but the strong connection and need to be close only got stronger.

I noticed that sometimes when his eyes got black he'd shudder and look like he was having a fight within himself to get control. I'd start to pull away at those moments but once his eyes returned an icy blue and he won he'd pull me close.

"Good morning beautiful" Gabriel whispered into my ear on the fifth day of our vacation.

I stretched and opened my eyes surprised to see him.

"Did you go to the gym? What time is it?" I asked him confused.

"Yeah I went earlier today, its only 730" he smiled down and kissed me. "I was gonna let you keep sleeping but seeing you sprawled out naked on the bed made that impossible" he grinned as he kissed me again, sliding his hand down my body and sliding a finger inside of me.

I moaned and pulled him on top of me. He was already naked and hard as a rock. "I need you inside me Gabe" I whispered in his ear while nibbling on it.

He made love to me slowly and gentle for him, making me orgasm multiple times. Tenderly kissing me the whole time.

"Mmm baby I'm about to c*m, bite my neck as hard as you can" he gently commanded me.

A little unsure I bit him hard and then instinctually dug me teeth in deeper. He moaned louder then I've heard even during our roughest s*x. I started to taste his blood and instantly started squirting all over him, I felt the orgasm through my entire body somehow pleasuring every last nerve ending. I released my bite and leaned my head back with pleasure as I convulsed underneath him. He took the opportunity to bite the same spot he marked before making me gasp in painful pleasure. I felt him unload in me while his whole body shook, before dropping down on me.

"I love you Hope" he blurted out and I felt his body tense. "f**k" he said rolling off of me and staring at the ceiling.

Did he just say he loved me?! My head spun. Saying he's mine and I'm his was somehow different then those three little words. Even though they meant more than I love you. I wanted to say it back, but I was frozen, I've never said that to a guy before.

"f**k I'm sorry. Not because I love you, but because I've been trying not to say it yet. Everything's happening so fast I didn't want to scare you off." Gabriel spoke fast and continued to stare at the ceiling.

"How long have you been trying not to say it?" I asked him, my heart fluttering from him saying it again.

"Uhhm It was almost the first thing I said to you. I stood behind you at the airport, longer then I'd like to admit, figuring out something to say to you other than that" he admitted giving me a sideways glance before looking back up at the ceiling.

"Awe Gabe! You're just saying that!" I blushed and pulled the blanket over my red face.

I heard him sigh before he pulled the blanket away from my face. "Honestly, I was at the first class bar when I felt like a magnet was pulling me. I left my drink and food and almost ran to you. I knew I loved you before I even saw your face." he sincerely explained to me.

How was it even possible for him to be drawn to me like that? I believed in angels and ghosts but I have no idea what category of supernatural to put this under.

"I believe you Gabe even though that sounds like there's some supernatural forces to blame." I whisper to him making him smile and kiss me on the forehead.

"I'm starting to think there's something supernatural about us... but anyways let's get ready for the day!" he said as he picked we up walking to the shower.

"Gabe?" I whispered shyly to him.

"Yeah baby?" he softly asked stopping to look at me concerned.

"I uhhh feel the same way about you. I've just never said those words to a guy before" I admitted hiding my face in his neck.

"f**k that makes me a happy man Hope, you say the words when you want to. I love you" He squeezed me close to him and walked us into the shower.

"So you want to do the elephant and ATV safari today?" he asked after we showered and I was getting dressed.

"f**k ya I do" I yelled and ran over to kiss him. "I've always dreamt of riding an elephant!"

"Okay finish getting ready and we'll grab a bite on the way."

I was so excited to get to safari that I forgot to put concealer on my bite mark and didn't notice until were were almost there. Gabriel was staring at it biting his lip while feeling the one I left on his neck. We probably looked like a b**m couple or something kinky.

When we got there we were placed in a group of eight. All couples that seemed to be around our age. Two of the couples seemed to be looking at us a fair bit while we were going through the safety and rules. Afterwards the couples approached us.

"Hi I'm Cassie, this is my boyfriend Adam, thats Alice and her boyfriend Max" Cassie said to us.

Cassie was a tall blonde with big glasses and a few small arm tattoos, her boyfriend Adam was taller than Gabriel but much more lean with black hair and a goofy smile. Alice was my height, short brown hair, and wore a shirt that said "Phuck off", Max was maybe six foot tall, brown hair and stalky like he should be a bouncer.

"Nice to meet you guys, I'm Hope and this is Gabriel" I introduced ourselves and they smiled.

I noticed Cassie looking at our necks but she didn't make a face or comment.

"You guys look cool and we're gonna be spending the day together so I figured we'd introduce ourselves!" She smiled at me sweetly.

"Awe good idea! What about the other couple?" I asked her smiling back.

We all looked over and the girl was a complete barbie she looked over and sneered at the three of us like we were beneath her. The three of us exchanged a look with eachother and laughed.

"She was hitting on Max right infront of me and her husband" Alice scowled throwing the girl a dirty look and I swear her eyes went black.

"Yes and you already tore her a new one, so leave it be" Cassie reminded her.

"Bitches be bitches" I laughed and and they joined me.

The tour guide told the group to follow them to the elephants. Alice and Cassie went on either side of me putting their arms through mine.

"I can tell we're gonna be best friends after today!" Cassie beamed making me laugh uncomfortably.

I looked back at Gabriel and he just shrugged at me and laughed, while he walked behind us with the girls.

"Sooo how long have you and Gabriel been together?!" Cassie asked me making me blush.

She seemed like a down to earth, but very bubbly extrovert. Her smile was contagious though and standing this close to her I noticed a mark on her neck. Was she covering up a bite mark?

"Uhhhm, less than a week" I said blushing.

"Awe so you guys met at your hotel?! What's the story?!" Cassie pushed for more information.

"At the airport in Calgary actually, we just had an instant connection" I told the girls blushing under their gaze.

"Cassie stop prying, your embarrassing the poor girl" Alice scolded. "It might feel fast Hope, but its just natural for some people. Max told me he loved me the day after we met" she comforted me.

Alice had a very sweet and motherly vibe to her. Her eyes were very kind. As I was looking at her talk I also noticed a bite mark covered up with concealer.

Both of them had marks? Is that why they think we'll be best friends. And her boyfriend fell in love with her right away? I felt so confused like I somehow joined some secret club, but nobody told me what kind of club it was.

"I told Adam I loved him five minutes after we felt our bond" Cassie beamed making Alice shoot her a dirty look.

"Felt your bond?" I asked confused making them look at eachother.

"oh we'll have plenty of time to talk later! Look the elephants, let's go pick ours out!" Alice avoid my question and we walked through a gate to the elephants.

I looked back at Gabriel and the guys were lagging behind us. Gabriel had a confused look on his face as well. Whoever our new friends were it felt like they were keeping us in the dark about something.

"What were you guys talking about that had you looking confused?" I asked him as he put his arm around me.

"Oh uh turns out we have a lot in common and it weirded me out" he told me kissing me on the head. I felt like he was keeping something me.

Before I could ask him more we were getting on the elephants and starting our tour. I'd have to wait to ask him now and ask Cassie what she meant about their "bond".

I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and now I'm starting to wonder if it's a secret cult. My thoughts of secret cults and bonds soon left my mind as I was overjoyed with finally riding an elephant.

There was no adrenaline rush, but just pure humbled joy. The elephant was graceful and slow. I felt like I was on top of the world.

Gabriel ended up ahead of me and everytime he looked back he'd grin ear to ear watching me.

The elephant ride lasted a few hours through the tropical forest. Most of us sat in awe and silence for most of the ride except the bitchy barbie, whom everyone could hear her complaining to her poor husband.

Once finished we fed and watered the elephants before the group who came on the quads finished their lunches and took the elephants.

There was a lunch waiting for us and picnic tables to sit at. As Gabriel and I sat down the other four joined us, Cassie bombarding us with questions.

What we were doing for the rest of the vacation, if we were going to Bangkok, how long we were staying then if we were going to extend our vacation.

"Honey, your creeping them out, let them eat their meal in peace" Adam lovingly said to Cassie, she stuck her tongue out at him response. He only looked at her like she was his world.

Alice took the heat off of us and was telling us about them, they all were from Canada as well. Cassie and Max worked for the same company so thats how they all knew eachother. When Gabriel asked what company, he was surprised it was a company his grandfather used to own.

While we were sitting and chatting I noticed the guys both had marks on their necks as well. Now I really did feel like I was in some secret club.

I rubbed my mark self consciously. Noticing my discomfort Gabriel leaned over and kissed my mark, sending shivers down my spine and making me blush infront of everyone.

"Hey no need to be shy around us" Adam said as he and Cassie stood up and he smacked her ass. "we don't judge" her eyes turned black for a moment before returning to their chocolate brown color.

The rest of us laughed as we also stood up and headed to the quads for the second half of the trip.

The quads were fun, but were programmed to a low max speed. We didn't have to go in single file but we did have to follow the main trail. Gabriel spent a lot of time zig zagging back n forth in front of me and cutting me off and occasionally Adam and Max would do the same to him and the other girls.

When we finally got to the end of the trip we were all laughing from pretty much using the quads as bumper cars. Gabriel and I both ended up exchanging numbers with the others and we were talking about meeting up for another adventure on our trip.

The girls and I had to use the bathroom before we went our separate ways. So we went together talking about where we wanted to go next. The washrooms were awkwardly out of the way from the main building, situated on the backside by the forest.

Alice and I stepped out of the bathroom waiting for Cassie who wanted to fix her makeup. I felt a sting in my neck and heard Alice gasp. I turned and saw her hand fly to her neck, then everything went black.
