Just like Daddy

Rochelle ignored me and i swear she is upset with me but why? I tried to talk to her but she has been avoiding me. So i decided to play outside and when i went to my room to get my jump rope she was in my bookbag. " why are you in my book bag?" I asked her she jumped startled " UM I was looking for paper" she replied. I cross my arms " you could have asked... did i upset you? are you mad at me?" She shook her head. " no i just been busy i wanted to draw something by myself" " OHH " i replied so i opened my top drawer and took out some paper and handed it to her " just ask next time"  " ok" i grabbed my jump rope and left. I was happy she wasn't mad at me. I then went outside to jump rope and it started getting dark but, I convinced Miss Mary to let me stay out longer.  Then it was bed time and I went to bed. Rochelle was on the top bunk and i the bottom. She found a picture of my brother and said " aww he is sooo cute" I giggled and we laughed then we went to bed. I didn't go to sleep and was happy i didn't get any visitors. 

Mark pov

I went to check on her at night but, I didn't wake her I could have but, Rochelle was there. So I just laid with her and held her. She looked so peaceful and i still can't believe she chose me. She made me feel i don't know if it is love but, I needed her.  She stirred in her sleep and i wished i could protect her from her nightmares. She always dreamed of Daddy and some reason i wanted to be in her dreams not her dad. She whimpered " daddy i be good... daddy i'm sorry"  I pet her head and saw her trembling body calm some.
