Wendy froze in her tracks.
"Wasn't he... asleep?" She thought.
When he saw that she was just standing there, Hanson sat up and jumped out of the bed. He then strode towards her and caught hold of her hand, then he forced it open.
He took the pill that she was clutching firmly in her hand and asked in a threatening voice, "What medicine is this?"
Wendy felt a little scared for some reason.
Hanson took a few steps and stood before her in an imposing manner. "Do you really think that I wouldn't be able to find out what this is if you just keep your mouth shut?"
"It's a contraceptive pill." She looked up at him with a steady gaze.
Those words infuriated Hanson instantly. "Who told you to take that?"
Wendy spoke in a calm and composed manner, "I wanted to take it myself."
