Wendy was escorted back to her ward by several bodyguards.
She didn't feel sleepy at all. So, she just sat on the bed, unmoving, as she gazed out of the window.
Shortly after that, there was a knock on the door. Then, Vincent came into the room.
He handed Wendy a bag containing her clothes and a photo.
Wendy took out the photo.
It was a photo of Wendy holding Kerwin in her arms as she smiled softly at him and pointed towards Vincent's camera.
On the other hand, Kerwin was staring in the direction of the camera rather expressionlessly. Nevertheless, Wendy slowly studied his fine, handsome features. "My child looked so beautiful," she thought.
She clutched the photo to her chest and burst into tears all of a sudden.
