"Stop," Hanson interrupted him.
He fixed Howard with a cold gaze. "You've said that you are not interested in her, but you've been defending her all this time. Do you seriously think that I wouldn't notice your feelings for her?"
Howard was extremely exasperated upon hearing that. "Hanson Yale!"
"Howard Chaziel!" Hanson responded by calling out Howard's name in a stern voice as well.
"If you're here today just to plead for that woman, then this conversation is considered over. You may leave now."
After saying that, he started walking towards the door.
Howard moved to block his way. "Hanson, have you lost your mind? What if Wendy's really innocent?"
"The fact that she didn't save my son even though she knows how to swim is enough for me to deem her unforgivable for the rest my life."
