Chapter 10: A Night to Remember

Eros drove Lily to a secluded spot overlooking the city, a hidden lookout point nestled amidst the rolling hills just outside of Berkeley. As they climbed out of the car, the air was crisp and cool, the city lights sparkling like a million tiny stars in the distance.

"It's beautiful," Lily whispered, her breath catching in her throat. She had never seen the city from this angle before, and it was breathtaking.

Eros smiled, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "I thought you'd like it," he said. "It's my secret spot."

He spread out a blanket on the ground, and they sat down together, their shoulders brushing. Eros pulled out a bottle of wine and two glasses, and they toasted to their love, their hearts filled with a sense of joy and wonder.

As they sipped their wine, Eros told Lily stories about his life, his dreams, and his passions. He was a gifted artist, a poet, a dreamer, and he shared his world with her, his thoughts, his feelings, his hopes, and his fears. Lily felt a deep connection with him, a sense of understanding that transcended words.

As the night wore on, the stars came out, twinkling like diamonds in the velvet sky. Eros took Lily's hand, his touch sending a jolt of electricity through her.

"Lily," he said, his voice husky. "I love you. I love everything about you, your smile, your laugh, your intelligence, your kindness, your passion."

Lily felt tears welling up in her eyes. She had never felt so loved, so cherished, so seen.

"I love you too, Eros," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "More than words can say."

Eros leaned in close, his breath warm against her ear. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you," he whispered. "I want to make you happy, to make you laugh, to make you feel loved."

Lily felt a surge of happiness, a sense of completeness. She had found her soulmate, the man of her dreams, and she knew she would do anything to be with him.
