Chapter 3: The First Date

336 Words
The following week, Eros called Lily and asked her to dinner. She was nervous, but she couldn't resist the opportunity to spend time with him. She agreed to meet him at a cozy Italian restaurant near campus, and she spent the entire day getting ready, trying to decide what to wear, what to say, and how to act. When she arrived at the restaurant, Eros was already waiting for her. He was dressed in a crisp white shirt and dark jeans, and he looked even more handsome than she remembered. He stood up as she approached, his smile lighting up his face. "Lily, you look amazing," he said, his voice filled with admiration. Lily blushed, her heart pounding in her chest. "Thank you," she replied, her voice barely a whisper. They sat down at a table by the window, and Eros ordered a bottle of wine. As they chatted, Lily found herself captivated by his intelligence, his wit, and his charm. He was everything she had ever wanted in a man, and she couldn't help but feel a growing sense of attraction towards him. As the evening wore on, Eros leaned in closer, his gaze intense. "Lily," he whispered, his voice husky. "I really like you. I think you're special." Lily's heart skipped a beat. She had been waiting for him to say those words, but now that he had, she felt a surge of both excitement and apprehension. She had to be careful, she knew, but she couldn't deny the pull she felt towards him. "I like you too, Eros," she replied, her voice trembling slightly. Eros smiled, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Good," he said. "Because I have a feeling this is just the beginning." As they walked out of the restaurant, the night air was filled with the scent of jasmine and the sound of laughter. Lily felt a sense of exhilaration, a sense of possibility. She had fallen for Eros, and she was ready to see where this journey would take them.
