New Beginning

Waking up in the morning but not happy at all in any way to be precise. All my life, my mum and I has been travelling from one town to another, from one province to another, when I finally thought we would be staying for good in Seoul, she suddenly got a promotion to Thailand a different country, a different culture and its so bloody annoying.
My name is Chin-Hea meaning oceans depth, my mum told me she named me that because of my blue eyes, I was told it reminded her of the oceans. I was born in Gangwon, but I don't remember growing up there. I don't know much about my dad,i was told he abandoned my mum when he found out that my mum was pregnant, i do hate my dad for that but I wished and hope he was fine and healthy where ever he was.
My mum is a popular novelist and script writer so her job requires her time and attention now she got a big offer from a big film industry it's always been a dream of hers for her works to goo globe and I can't stop her from that, I'm 17 in grade 11 but I had to change my school in the middle of first semester because of my mum's work I have no choice now I'm already in Thailand might as well get use to their type of life
"Sweety how's your room I hope it's up to your liking" my mum asked
"It's ok mum" I replied smiling taking my seat at the dinning
"Here's your breakfast " she said placing a simple sandwich and hot choco on the table in front of me
"Sorry about the breakfast after my meeting I'll be going to market to get some grocery, wanna come with me" I just nodded and started eating
"Also I've talked to the principal of your new school he said its best if you start now so that you can meet up" she explained
"But mum, it's not easy to go another school in the middle of a semester, it's difficult to catch up" I complained, giving her the 'I don't like it look'
"Come on Chin-Hea, don't be like that I promise this is the last time we'll be moving even if I have businesses outside the country I'll go alone and come back home. Lets try to make this place our home" she smiled genuinely. Its the first time she's saying we should make a place our home it's always 'it won't last long I promise' or 'just bear with me'
"Are you trying to say we should make this place our home"
"yes love that's why I didn't rent the place instead I bought this house and the space, cause I know you love quiet places and nature" she held my hands and gave it a quick squeeze looking at me
"I know you've been through alot moving from places and not being able to make real friends I'm sorry" she said at the point of crying
"Come on mum it's not your fault, you were just trying to make a better and comfortable life for both of us and I'm grateful for it so please don't cry" I said wiping her tears
"Thanks baby you're the best thing that has ever happened to me" she smiled. Standing up she went to her bag and brought out a pair of keys
"And guess what I got you" she chuckle waving the keys not catching up on time I asked confused
"What did you get" walking towards me she kept the keys in front of me. Taking a look at the keys I was shocked taking the keys
"No you didn't?" I exclaimed
"Yes I did" she replied just as excited standing up and jumping on her
"What the f**k"
"Lauguage young man" she scolded
"Where the hell is it?"
"In the garage" running towards the garage I saw my dream motorbike 'kawasaki Ninja H2'
"Oh my gosh mum you're the best" I said sitting on the bike and kissing it continuously
"I believe those kisses were meant for me right" she said chuckling. I just smiled at her
She drove me to school, talked to the principal and was told to resume school next Monday since it was Friday already.
I drove around the place we were staying to know the neighbourhood, we are currently in Chiang Mia both my mum and I loves nature alot that's why most of the places we stayed before were always full of trees but where we currently are, is a bit far from the busy side of Chiang Mia we are staying at a more deserted place it's all trees and all
I believe that behind my house is a forest, I swear because I took a walk to the clearings that lead to the forest behind my house but it's like the more i walk the deeper I get, I had to turn back not to get lost, and It's like a 10 to 15 minutes drive to town, not that I'm complaining about it cause I actually love it, I love the fresh air here and the absolute quietness.
And today is my first day of school and I don't feel too good about it. I just have a feeling that it's going to be a bad day
"Sweety come down for breakfast, you don't wanna be late on your first day right??" My mum shouted from the kitchen down stairs. I was already getting ready to take my black bag pack, I went down
"Good morning mum" I greeted kissing her cheek
"Morning Aat" she replied
"Come on mum you know I'm not used to that name" I said taking my seat
"That's what I'll be calling you now sweety so that you can get used to it. You are no longer in Korea, this is Thailand so you should be called like one" she explained putting my breakfast on the table
"I'm so proud of myself for giving you a Thailand name, do you know you have a English name too" she said smiling proudly
"Yes mum, you told me already" I replied half heartedly
"Really I don't remember telling you that" she said taking her seat as well and started eating
"But Aat........"
"Mum!....." I cut her off
"Get used to it, now is that your outfit on your first day in school"
"Why isn't it good?"
"No baby I don't like it, can you change for mummy?"
"But mum I think this is fine I'm not impressing any body or anything like that" I replied grumbling she's always like this wanting to make me always dress up it's annoying
"That's why you need to dress up so that you will have some body to impress" she said smiling
