44. Marraige.

Heri's Point of View.

Heri: Karina is not here yet?

Tilbe shake her head in a no while her lips were both clasped together, chewed in.

Tilbe: Do I look like a monster Sis Ri?

I looked at her confused while Galen look at her quite amused.

Heri: No I don't think you look anything like a monster, why do you ask?

She squint her eye at my answer.

Tilbe: It's just that, Karina hide her people so deeply and quite far that I thought they become scared by my face. I know the reason why she did it, but still then......

And she shrug while we saw Karina behind her back listening at her amusedly.

Karina: No Tilbe, I think you look very adorable and beautiful.

Tilbe grin when she heard her voice and turn back hesitantly.

Tilbe: I swear I was not talking bad about you or anything, but it's also weird how I kind of feel guilty......

We chuckle at her words while she look back at us and just shrug again.

Karina: Anyway, the people I have been saying about. Here is my sister June Grime.

And the girl that we met before come to us from behind her back and say a shy hello while all of us did the same back. Then she turn to the guy standing next to the girl and introduce him too.

Karina: And this is Dante...

Tilbe: William!

We looked back at her a bit surprised by her sudden shout.

Karina: Yes Dante William, how did you know?

Dante: Tilbe?

Tilbe suddenly jump excitedly and went and hug him, making all of us looked at them in shocked. What kind of situation is this?

Tilbe: Its been such a long time, I miss you so bad. Where have you been?

She looked at him excitedly coming out of the hug while all of us look at the scene with interest.

Dante: I miss you too, and I have been here and there all over.It had been a long time since I lost my way to come back home.

When he said that, Tilbe suddenly seems to recollect what is the situation he is in and just give him a small smile.

Tilbe: Iam sorry.

Dante: Don't be, anyway how have you been, how is Vann?

Oh he know Vann too? Who is this guy?

He know both Vann and Tilbe, but not me this is a bit odd.

Tilbe: He is fine and Iam also doing quite alright?

Karina: Okay, you two have to do the catch up later on and tell us what is going on. You two know each other?

All of us look at Tilbe for an explanation, while she looked back at us with a big grin.

Tilbe: Well we were childhood friend, like from five to ten, I suppose. We were quite close untill he move away from Iklu, that is.

Galen: You guys really have a good memory, you can even recognised each other instantly when it has been more than a decade since you guys meet.

Tilbe looked at herself in wonder when he said that, while Dante smile sweetly, his arm hugging June lovingly.

Tilbe: Iam also amazed, but Dan really do look the same.

Dante: You do too Tilbe. You still look like a baby.

Tilbe smile at that.

Galen: Well Iam supposing, we dont need anything for identification anymore right?

Tilbe: Oh it's kind of easy actually. Sis Ri?

I nod my head when she ask that, actually I can go through the birth and all the documentation kept for it. So I can practically see all needed information, the second I heard his name.

And also we can just crossed checked later as well, just to be sure.

Tilbe: Well then, do I hear wedding bells Dante?

She looked at him in a hesitant manner, cause it is kind of forced if looked at it that way.

Dante: Iam happy to share that I really am getting married.

He looked down at June smiling sweetly while kissing her forehead while she too looked up at him with a sweet and a loving gaze.

Heri: Congratulation.

They smile as I said that.

Karina: Thank you for everything Tilbe and all of you guys, it's because of you guys that we can live on.

I side hug her when she said taht.

Heri: It's no big deal.

Galen: Please let us know if you need anything for the marriage, we are happy to help.

Galen give them an assuring smile while I do too.

Tilbe: I am of the knowledge that you guys are staying at Dante home by now.

Karina nod in a yes when she said that.

Tilbe: Thats a relief. Cause the wedding need to be a little rushed, you might not be able to do everything you want. But the usual that is wedding ceremony will be taken up in the chruch while for the feast, feel free to choose any place you like.

Karina smile at Tilbe when she said that.

Dante: Thank you Tilbe, for all your help.

Tilbe: All my pleasures, and besides, all the money needed for the marriage, Galen will offer so don't worry about that and enjoy your day to the fullest.

Galen look a bit taken aback by the sudden announcement but nonetheless smile at them saying he is here to help. And he seems happy to help.

Galen: She is right, don't worry about it. I got everything under control.

Karina: Thank you, I don't know how to repay you guys back with all the things you have done for us.

Heri: There is no need for that, now you are also a member of Iklu, that means we are family now.

She gave me a grateful smile while June and Dante also have a similar expression.

Karina: Well then, we will get going for now.

Tilbe: Umm if you need anything, come by the palace. Iam always around there or yet these two will also be there.

They start to walk away while we stay behind but just before they did, Tilbe stop them.

Tilbe: And hey Karina,

She turn back as Tilbe calls her.

Tilbe: Forget about what you say before. Now that you have decided to stay in Iklu, don't think yourself as an outsider anymore. Iklu is a place full of warm and the kindness of our people is our trademark. So enjoy it, while mingling with everyone happily and proudly.

She must be talking about when Karina said, she only need a place and that they will stay there all hidden and alone without disturbing anyone or letting anyone see them.

Karina smile a sincere genuine smile as she said that.

Karina: Thank you.

And with that, they walk away while I sigh and in relief at the fact that the situation is settled peacefully.

And besides what Tilbe said is right, every member of Iklu is close to one another, all of us know each other and is there for each other in our kingdom. Iklu is not small but not huge either, and the people are like closely knitted keen who live as a huge big family.

So Iam supposing nothing bad will happen with them coming in, they will just blend it all right.

Tilbe: Well then, I will see you both later too. I have to go now.

And she start to sprint while Galen take a hold of her by her sleeve and halt her.

Galen: I just want to know, how come Iam paying?

Tilbe looked at him pointedly while turning completely to us.

Tilbe: Because you said you will be happy to help, so I thought that will be an opportunity. Besides, you are loaded and aslo don't need to take permission to spend money like I do.

She pout in complain at the end of her sentence. And by permission she means, if she spent from the kingdom's treasury, she need to write report on it for documentation. Tilbe hate writing reports, so as much as possible she spent money from her private account.

Galen: I guess you are not even going to hide the fact that you are scamming me or even try to persuade me to agree.

She smile happily when he said that and nod in agreement.

Tilbe: Well since everything is understood, now babye. I have people waiting for my presence.

And with that she sprint away to where Ax was and with her help they start to walk away, while we looked at them in question.

Galen: Am I the only one who don't know who that is?

Heri: Nop, the only thing I know of is that he is Tilbe's cousin brother.

Galen: Cousin?

I tsk at myself, Iam not suppose to say anything about him.

Heri: Don't ask, Iam not suppose to say anything about him. Or better yet, I also don't know anything about him and Tilbe plan to keep it that way.

He nod as I said that in understanding.

Galen: Well she must have her reasons

It's just that, somehow he looked very familiar for some reason, although this is the first time I met him.

I looked up at him hearing that information, not really knowing how to react while he just shrug as well.

Galen: Maybe Iam just imagining it, who know.

Like that we start to walk out from the Cosmo garden.

Galen: Forget about them, lets talk about us.

Heri: Hmm?

What is there to talk about us?

Galen: About me meeting your parents, what should I prepare? Is there anything your mom or dad like in particular?

He looked at me nervously while I look at him and act like Iam thinking seriously.

Heri: Well, they do like a good son-in-law, so present yourself looking very alluring, then thats enough.

I stifled my laugh while he looked at me dryly.

Galen: Iam serious here, and alluring? Really?

I shrug and laugh softly while walking a bit ahead of him, which he catch up quickly.

Galen: And yes, what do they like?

I stop walking and looked at him seriously.

Heri: We are just informing them that we are in a relationship and nothing else.

He looked at me with an expression of, so what? while I look at him in disbelieve.

Heri: I mean, you are not asking for my hand or anything like that. This is not our engagement or anything like such, that you will need to bring gift for my parents!

It is a tradition to bring a little something when a guy come to ask for their daughter hand but that's about it and nothing more.

Galen: Well then shall I just ask for your hand now and get engaged? Cause I really want to bring the gifts?

I glare at him and hit him lightly at his shoulder while he laugh lightly at my action. And like such, we went back home talking all the way through.
