Heri's Point of View.
I opened the door and to my absolute surprise, Galen was standing there with a bright smile on his face.
He is wearing a black overcoat with a huge gray scarf around his neck, while his breath swirls along the cold wind of the beautiful starry night.
Galen: Happy new year love.
He said so with a soft smile on his face.
While I stood there too surprised for a moment.
Seeing my surprised state Vann nudged me a little as he whispered.
Vann: Hug him stupid.
He pushed me a little and then went back inside while saying a small happy new year to Galen as he also does the same and well, for the first time I am thankful he is there.
I jumped from where I was standing and hugged him tightly.
