51.Marriage ceremony

Heri's Point of View.

The marraige for Dante and June is at last taking place at the church today.

The reception to be held in the practice place full of Tulip thanks to Tilbe's willingness to give it to them.

And actually Iam at the reception area, they must have already finished the ceremony by now.

Actually since there weren't many people for the preparation, I came here about in the middle of the ceremony to go through everything. Dante and June are holding a feast here for pretty much the whole kingdom. I mean everyone in the kingdom is welcome.

Actually the wedding ceremony is held with only a few of us, that is Tilbe and me and Galen and the three of them and no one else.

June said she will like to keep the wedding ceremony as private to her as possible so it was a grant to her wish.

Anyway I look again at the small stage we have made with brown feather like flowers, completely contrasting the red blooming flowers nearby. The stage is just like a small gate like things make with bamboo which look extremely fresh and obviously nice.

All the preparation were done, all the table neatly in its place and all the food also ready in each place.

After about ten minute, the wedding band arrive. All the quest stand up and sang a hymn as the bride and groom walk in.

All of them smile broadly at each other while the bride and groom walk down together in their beautiful white gown and the gorgeous black tuxedo.

They come and seat at the stage where seats are prepared for them.

While they seat down, all of the people clap and with that sit down as well closing the hymn.

I went over to the stage to take my time, as one way or the other, I somehow become the host if their reception. Although Iam not sure why.

Heri: Welcome to everyone present here, this is a happy occasion set up to celebrate the holy matrimony of Dante William and June Grime, who now have become husband and wife in the blessed eye of everyone. The reception programmes will this begin this way, first I give my time to the couple for anything they will like to present.

And I step away while both the groom and bride take the stage.

Dante: Hello everyone, Iam Dante William and this is my lovely wife June Grime William.

I chuckled at how proud and happy he seems to call June his wife. While at the mention of the mere word, June's eye light up with absolute happiness as well.

Dante: First off, I take this opportunity to apologise to everyone who due to my sudden arrival have been burden with problems of any kinds. I thought I would never be able to see the place I once called home again, but thankfully for me when I did find my way back, everybody welcome with an open arms and a kind smile, making me know again why I call Iklu my home. Thank you for accepting me and my family so happily and lending all the help I need to make the happiest moment of my life happen in a perfect way. Thank you.

June smile up at him looking at him with nothing but love in her eyes, she step a little forward and said something's as well.

June: Hello everyone, Iam June Grime William. Thank you all for attending such a joyous occasion if ours with such a happy heart. First off, I know I have many people to thank for what I have right now. I know I owe my happiness to a lot of people, but no matter how many people there are, my sister Karina will always be the first in my heart. So with a grateful heart I present this shawl to my sister.

Karina went up to the stage looking as beautiful and fierce as ever in that velvet green dress she is wearing.

While she happily hug the couple and June wrap the shawl on her.

Actually the shawl given is a traditional shawl which is given in marraige as a form of gratitude in marriages in Iklu, it is a type of a custom we follow.

Dante: And the next person is someone who has guide us through everything we have done in Iklu and have always help us with all she can. We are so blessed and honoured to have her here with us on our special day, Tilbe Vasely.

When he annouced that everybody clap once again, while Tilbe get up from her seat and went up. She is wearing a traditional attire which is a cute black blouse and a deep red kashan, which is a price of cloth like a straight skirt but without ny hook.

The kashan is printed or rather weaved in such a way that, it have a beautifull pattern of white, orange, green,yellow and white on the red in different shape and structure. It look so beautiful.

She also wore a traditional earing and necklace and to finish the look put on a simple nude heels, looking so beautiful.

Anyway she was presented the shawl as well and thus the shawl giving ceremony end as such as no other family member is there in Iklu from both Dante and June's side.

Anyway after that I announce the buffer to begin and thus the party truly begin.

Everyone loiter with everyone, all the people sporting a huge grin each and alll eating and drinking to their heart content with the festive mood.

Anyway while I was standing there Tilbe and Vann come up to where I was standing.

Tilbe: Sis Ri, you are looking so preety.

I smile as she said that, actually Iam wearing a simple nude blazer which reach upto my thigh and a pant of same colour to go with it. A black lacy camisole on the inside and a black stiletto to finish the look.

Heri: Thank you Tilbe, you are quite a sight yourself.

She giggled and spin showing off her look as I said that making me do the same with her.

Vann chuckled at our action while Galen come to us at the same time.

Galen: Well since no one is saying anything to Vann, Vann you are looking quite hot and handsome today.

He said so as he come up and kiss the side of my forehead. While Vann just stand there all flustered by the sudden compliment.

Vann: I will rather not hear that from a guy, thank you though.

I chuckled as he still look a bit confused and flushed. He quickly take Tilbe's hand and ran away from us while I just laugh t his action.

Galen: Well, do I feel awkward!

I smile at him and turn his way.

Heri: Well, since no one is doing it making you feel awkward, let me. Honey, you are looking so gorgeous in black.

He smile as I did that.

Galen: You know that is not what I mean. You think it will have been fine, if I had left out the hot part?

I nod my head in agreement as he said that.

Heri: Most likely yes.

He nod his head seemingly thinking deeply about something. While I laugh at his expense.

Anyway the ceremony continues like such, until it was time to lead the couple to their home. This was also a tradition we follow, all the girl will wear the same attire while the boys will do so too.

And we will all sing songs and as someone lead and lead them to their new home, all the others following closely.

And thus June come in the middle with her entire attire set while Dante do the same.

June is dressed in a red kashan as well but this one have a different design from Tilbe, while wearing the traditional black blouse and a red shawl covering her from the head but with her face visible of course. She carried a small bamboo basket like such from the back, with a small pot on it. She is acceseriz with a huge necklace of about five string with green, white, and brown pearls design beautifully in it. And a belt like structure also worn by her hips covering her with the glittering pearls.

And she use a small black spear like a cane to finish the look.

We also put on the same attire as Tilbe was wearing before but now with a shawl and start to march. Everyone of us singing and marching at the same time, and like that we March for about a mile siging together happily and reach Dante home.

And when we reach there, we saw Dante standing by the door of their home in

a traditional attire as well, a shorter version of kashan which is wrap in a pants like way but extremely short, reaching upto his thighs. He put on a beautiful bamboo carved headpiece which have a horn liek structure in the middle with colourful treads decorating the piece. And to finish the look have a huge shawl that pretty much cover him from shoulder to the ankle.

Besides him Vann and Galen stood, they also have the huge traditional shawl on them but wore it outside their tuxedo, unlike Dante.

Anyway we went to the gate as June cut the small thread tied by the gate.

And like such we enter their home, but before we get inside, an elder from the kingdom pray for the well-being of Dante and June and blessed them for a happy, peaceful and prosperous life ahead as a husband and wife.

After that June step inside gingerly, excitement and nervousness all combined in her expression.

While Karina and me lead June to their bedroom which is beautifully decorated.

Heri: Wishing you a very pleasant marriage life, be blessed.

She smile at me as I said that.

June: Thank you for everything Heri.

Karina: You have to live well little one, make sure you are so happy and if Dante bullies you, I will make sure he is dealt with.

June giggled as she said that, while I do too. But Karina look quite serious and stern to pass her words as jokes.

June hold her hand and look up at her sweetly while saying.

June: You are going to stay with me only sis, why are you acting like you will go away. You can just guard and see if Dante will bully me or not no?

Karina chuckled at that and kiss her forehead softly.

Karina: Enjoy your day to the fullest June, Iam wishing and praying for your happy and blessed life with Dante.

They hug each other as she said that and stay like that for a while, that is until we left. After both the sister's eyes felt teary at that.
